Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Amazing Game (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlie Phelps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Game might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Spirit in the Sky. The crowd seem to be enjoying Phelps's choice of entrance music: Dixie. Carlie Phelps is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

8 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Carlie Phelps! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Game throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Phelps on the side of the head. Phelps pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Game throws a right and a left that both miss. Game lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Phelps shoots in for a double leg but Game sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Game throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Phelps. Phelps walks into a left hand. Phelps misses with a head kick.
Game moves into range and connects with a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phelps misses with a head kick.
Game keeps the fight on the outside. Carlie Phelps seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Phelps tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Game manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Phelps takes one to the side of the head.

Game tries to bum rush Phelps with a series of wild strikes but Phelps uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Game scores with a one two! Phelps had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Phelps wants to clinch. Phelps tries to clinch up. Game displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Phelps. Phelps looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Game as he connects with a hook. No luck with that takedown attempt from Phelps. Amazing Game has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlie Phelps. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Game, as that shot connected.
Phelps takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Game is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Game stuns Phelps with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Phelps gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Game connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Game moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Game lands a two punch combo.
Game closes the distance and pushes Phelps back into the cage. Phelps letting Game take a breather here. Game seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Game escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Phelps. Game connects with a looping right hand.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Phelps moves forwards but Game connects with a nice, crisp jab. Game lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Phelps backs up against the cage.

Haye dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Haye delivers a nice body kick. Haye lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice cross by Haye. Pavlyuchenko gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Haye gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Pavlyuchenko is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Pellegrino fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Chui looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Chui throws a head kick but Pellegrino moves out of range.

Pellegrino will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chui shoots and misses and Pellegrino counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Chui's guard now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pellegrino passes Chui's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Chui looks gassed! Pellegrino maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Chui could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Pellegrino has cracked it and Chui is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Pellegrino!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pollack cracks Jones with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Tom Jones has been cut. Pollack dips to his left and cracks Jones with an uppercut! Pollack misses with a looping left. Pollack shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Jones throws a right and a left that both miss. Jones throws a hook to the side of Pollack's head but Pollack sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Oh, that's a big right hand from Pollack and Jones goes tumbling to the canvas! Pollack follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Jones is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pollack is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jones is just riding it out for now. Pollack eventually gives up the hold. Oh Jones is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Pollack is keen to just control but Jones is a slippery customer. Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position. Jones tries to roll over but Pollack keeps him under control. Jones seems to have got his legs back now. Jones blocking the ground and pound attempt from Pollack. Jones wants to get back to full guard. Pollack throws a strike but Jones avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones striking off his back but it's not causing Pollack any problems. Pollack drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Pollack off! Pollack jumps back into Jones's guard. Pollack postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Pollack working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jones pulls Pollack in close to prevent any damage. Pollack won't allow Jones to get back to his feet. Pollack throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jones manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pollack is desperately trying to improve his position but Jones has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pollack swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Pollack wants to control but Jones is having none of it. Pollack tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pollack is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action. Jones avoids the attempt from Pollack to control. Jones prevents Pollack from getting the reversal. Pollack has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The referee warns Pollack that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Pollack is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Pollack and Jones has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Jones trying to control the action but Pollack is working from the bottom. Jones working the ground and pound. Pollack manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Jones moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Pollack. Pollack struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pollack knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pollack keeps working. Pollack takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Jones wants to control but Pollack is keeping him busy. Jones lands an elbow. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pollack wants to control but Jones postures up. Pollack is looking for a sweep. Pollack manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Jones. Jones landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Jones crunches a lovely knee into Pollack's ribcage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pollack's efforts to push away. Jones lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Pollack takes a knee to the side of the body. Jones gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Jones creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pollack's defenses. Jones lands a nice knee to the body. A right hook to the body lands for Jones.
Jones manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Jones has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Pollack clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Jones is trying to stick to Pollack's back but Pollack is turning into Jones. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Jones's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pollack. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones wants to sweep but no luck.

Pollack postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pollack, into his guard. Jones throwing strikes but missing.

Jones is nestled in close to Pollack, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jones trying to pass the guard but Pollack defending well. Jones is trying to control the action in half guard but Pollack is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Pollack lands a couple of sideways elbows.

MacRally connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gianan's hands. Gianan looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gianan fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but MacRally is out of range. MacRally throws a series of punches but Gianan moves out of range. MacRally misses with the combination.

MacRally tests Gianan's chin there with a solid looking shot. MacRally swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Gianan is rocked! MacRally ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Gianan out cold! The fight is over!
