The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Ramlow.
Ramlow uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Junior has time to react.

Ramlow shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ramlow showed some decent athleticism there.

Ramlow would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Junior is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Ramlow is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Ramlow flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Junior anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Ramlow and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Junior slips an arm under Ramlow chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Junior has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Junior is squeezing on Ramlow like an anaconda would it's prey. Ramlow fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zedowski cracks Spyridon with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Spyridon falls to his knees and Zedowski doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Merfy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexey Tarasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrew Merfy had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 173.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
