Undercard bout

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pope John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rodrigo Oliveira was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
John postures up in Oliveira's guard and throws a big left but Oliveira blocks it.

Francis throws a leg kick but Choi sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Francis shoots for a double leg takedown but Choi sprawls well. He's pushed Francis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Choi fails to land with a series of punches.
Choi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Choi drops Francis with a beautiful combination! Francis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Choi is looking for the KO!
