The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mathers dips to his left and cracks Sanchez with an uppercut! Mathers lands a nice shot to the body.
Sanchez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sanchez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mathers. Mathers ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Mathers cracks Sanchez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Mathers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sanchez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sanchez throws a head kick that misses. Mathers stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Mathers scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Sanchez looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Not much technique there but it did the business. Sanchez seems to have got his legs back now. Mathers cracks Sanchez with a good jab. Mathers uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sanchez has time to react. Sanchez walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Sanchez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mathers fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Marshall Mathers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sanchez tries to move into range but Mathers moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Mathers lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Mathers lands with a hook. Sanchez tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Mathers throws out a powerful jab. Mathers drops Sanchez with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Sanchez! Mathers dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bryant goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Sanchez drives through and clinches with Bryant against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Bryant scores with a nice short uppercut. Sanchez is trying to drag Bryant to the mat but Bryant just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A head punch blocked on the inside by Sanchez. Bryant throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sanchezs head.
It looks like Martin Sanchez has been cut. A short left from Bryant. Sanchez blocks a body shot from Bryant. Sanchez has Bryant pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bryant manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Bryant lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Bryant has a couple of punches blocked by Sanchez.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter digs a good hook to Klaustner's body.
Carter throws a series of punches but Klaustner moves out of range. Klaustner misses the shot to the body. Klaustner with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Klaustner throws a combination that misses and Carter counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Carter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Klaustner.
Carter throws a quick inside leg kick. Carter scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Klaustner thows a left - swing and a miss! Carter scores with a kick to the body.
Klaustner is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Klaustner jabbing away but nothing is landing. Klaustner has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Klaustner there as he acknowledges the shot. Klaustner takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Carter lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A looping hook to the body misses from Carter. Klaustner does a little dance to reset his feet. Carter thumps Klaustner with a low kick. Nice body kick there by Carter. Carter throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Carter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Klaustner on the side of the head.
It looks like Vince Klaustner has been cut. Vince Klaustner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carter throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Klaustner leaves Carter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. An inside leg kick lands from Carter. Carter lands a left and a right that send Klaustner crashing to the mat, dazed. Carter thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Klaustner is rocked! Carter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Klaustner doesn't seem bothered though. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Carter misses with a body shot
and Klaustner counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Klaustner checks a leg kick nicely. Klaustner takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Carter is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Klaustner rather than just go for the knockout. Carter misses with a straight left. Carter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Klaustner. That did some damage! Sloppy strikes from Carter. Those never looked like landing. I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Carter has cracked Klaustner with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Carter lands another huge swinging hook and Klaustner tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Klaustner, before Carter can land any more shots!

Horrible takedown by Mac Cumhaill or perhaps it was just good defense by T which made him look bad. T wants to clinch up but Mac Cumhaill keeps it at a distance. T clinches with his opponent.

Mac Cumhaill has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. T is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Mac Cumhaill tries to pull guard but T holds him up against the cage and eventually Mac Cumhaill drops back down to his feet.

Silva throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Silva thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on o hAodha if he has to take too many more of those.
o hAodha is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Silva scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. o hAodha doesn't seem bothered though. Silva lands a big head kick that sends o hAodha tumbling to the mat! Silva takes a step backwards and waves o hAodha back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schkayle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Quaid moves out of range of the body kick from Schkayle.
Schkayle uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Schkayle ducks under a wild hook from Quaid. Schkayle throws a low kick but Quaid avoids it. Schkayle thows a body shot but no joy. Schkayle wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A looping hook to the body misses from Schkayle. Quaid does a little dance to reset his feet. Schkayle lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Schkayle moves away from the strike by Quaid. Quaid keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Schkayle. Schkayle misses with a hook. Richtor Schkayle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schkayle throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Schkayle is on top in guard.

Schkayle fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Quaid has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Schkayle tries to work over Quaid's front leg with a kick but Quaid checks it.

Schkayle is fending him off so far but Quaid persists. Nope, Schkayle circles away and we're back to standing. A good leg kick by Schkayle. Schkayle tries to clinch but fails miserably and Quaid counters with a nice uppercut. Quaid swings and misses with a hook to the body.

A jab from Schkayle finds it's way through Quaid's defenses. Schkayle connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Schkayle lands a really nice looking cross but Quaid seems unphased.
Quaid is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A chopping leg kick lands by Schkayle. Schkayle feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Quaid sprawling to the canvas! Quaid rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Schkayle finish him?!
Oh Quaid is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Schkayle throws a pinpoint strike between Quaid's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Quaid crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Schkayle scores a great knockout victory!
