The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pummel tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Alard counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Alard wants to control but Pummel is keeping him busy. Pummel avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Alard. Alard is keen to just control but Pummel is a slippery customer. Pummel is looking for a sweep. Alard is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Alard moves into full mount! Pummel won't be happy about that! Alard can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pummel is looking to escape. Alard prevents Pummel from getting the reversal. Alard tries to control but Pummel wriggling away. Alard unloading with bombs!
That's one minute gone in the round. Pummel is in a horrible position here. Alard smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Alard wants to control the pace but Pummel is squirming around nicely. Alard is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pummel is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Pummel tries to improve his position but instead Alard has taken his back! The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Alard wants to control but Pummel is keeping busy. Alard is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Pummel. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Alard working for the choke. Alard is punishing Pummel with strikes - can he finish him?!

Pummel is trying to stand back up. Alard wants to control but Pummel manages to buck him off and is now in Alard's guard! Nice work there by Pummel! Alard had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pummel defends it easily. Alard preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Los Anjos tries to clinch but Flint moves away and Flint counters with a takedown into side control. Flint controls the position from side control. Los Anjos tries to buck Flint off but Flint is having none of it. Flint decides to stand up, so the ref orders Los Anjos to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flint fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Flint ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Los Anjos moves away. Flint lands a slapping body shot.
Los Anjos looks gassed! Flint throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Flint lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Gabriel Los Anjos has been cut. Los Anjos chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Flint can pounce on him.
Flint sends Los Anjos crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Flint is motioning to the referee to let Los Anjos up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Los Anjos slips a jab and a cross from Flint.
Jack Flint seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Flint slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Flint misses with a wild combination.
Flint buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Los Anjos looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Nice jab there from Flint.
Los Anjos is rocked! Flint closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Los Anjos! Flint dives in looking to finish! Los Anjos is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Igo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Igo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lambada misses with an uppercut. Igo saw that one coming. Igo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lassi Lambada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lambada swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Igo. Lambada throws a jab when Igo was well out of range. Igo with a lazy takedown attempt and Lambada counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lambada. Lambada lands a nice uppercut. Igo is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Lambada pushes Igo back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Igo takes a shot to the head. Lambada scores with a shot to the side of Igo's head. Lambada makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A hook to the body from Lambada.
Igo goes for a takedown attempt but Lambada pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Liam Igo. That's going to take a lot out of him. A jab from Lambada does it's job there. Nice shot by Lambada. Lambada connects with a single shot there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lambada lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lambada lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lambada sizes up Igo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Igo is rocked! Lassi Lambada is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lambada moves into the clinch. Oh Igo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lambada. Igo seems to have got his legs back now. Igo is trying to drag Lambada to the mat but Lambada just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. Lambada lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Igo to his knees! Lambada keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Sousa moves to clinch but Souza breaks away and Souza counters with a low kick, right behind Sousa 's knee. A low kick from Sousa misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Sousa thows a leg kick but Souza checks it and Souza counters with a nice leg kick. Souza lands with a thumping leg kick.
Souza misses with a few strikes there.
Oooooh!!! Souza has knocked Sousa down with a huge combo! Souza steps away and waves a wobbly Sousa back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Souza fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sousa. Oh Sousa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Souza batters Sousa with a massive right followed by a huge left! Sousa is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Souza lands a final crushing right hand to drop Sousa to the mat with a gruesome thud! Souza is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Hanzo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hiawatha looking to sit in guard and control but Hanzo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hanzo tries to stand but Hiawatha is controlling from the bottom. Hiawatha isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hanzo stacks Hiawatha on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hanzo! The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hiawatha is looking to reverse the position.

Hanzo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hiawatha looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hanzo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Hiawatha escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hanzo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. Pikku Hiawatha dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Hiawatha connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hanzo momentarily.
