Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Tachia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drago comes into the arena with SuperBeast blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lyoto Tachia was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lyoto Tachia! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drago forces Tachia back against the cage and clinches. Drago is looking to control Tachia's arms but Tachia gets an underhook and turns him. Now Drago has his back to the cage. Drago tries to throw a body punch but Tachia avoids it by throwing Drago back against the cage. Drago prevents Tachia from breaking the clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Tachia. Tachia wants to get back to striking at distance but Drago won't allow it.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Drago. Tachia looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Tachia can't break the clinch.
Tachia blocks an uppercut.
Drago tries to circle away but Tachia has him pinned against the cage. Drago throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Tachias head. Tachia tries to break free but Drago pushes him back against the cage. Drago goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

A short right from Drago on the inside. Drago tries to work over Tachia's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Tachia misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Drago.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Drago has Tachia pressed against the cage, preventing Tachia from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Tachia wants to break the clinch but can't.

Tachia takes a shot to the head. Drago breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Drago feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Tachia sprawling to the canvas! Tachia rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Drago finish him?!
Tachia is rocked! Drago is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Tachia flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Tachia is out cold! Drago holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronson cracks a nice hook into Nasty's ribs. Bronson clinches up against the cage. Bronson softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Bronson has Nasty pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bronson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Nasty tumbling to the mat - Bronson dives into Nasty's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bronson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nasty's guard. Nasty regains full guard. Nicely done. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bronson thows a big elbow that misses. Bronson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Nasty wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bronson keeps working. Bronson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Nasty's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bronson tries to get to full guard but Nasty has control of the leg. Nasty missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Nasty is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bronson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nasty. Bronson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bronson is controlling Nasty's position as best he can from this difficult position. Nasty seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bronson tries to get to full guard but Nasty has control of the leg. Nasty has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Nasty is working for a submission of some sort.
Bronson is in trouble now - Nasty has advanced to mount! Nasty is standing up, even though he is in mount. Nasty throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bronson's waist but Bronson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nasty off to one side. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bronson looks to clinch and Nasty decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bronson's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bronson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nasty controls the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that So Nasty will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Nasty shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bronson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Nasty trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Nasty throwing strikes but missing. Nasty preventing the sweep. Nasty trying to control the position from guard on top but Bronson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nasty postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bronson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nasty, into his guard. Bronson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. So Nasty overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nasty looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bronson is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nasty has his foot on Bronson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bronson works his way back into a safe position though. Bronson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nasty is keeping the position for now. Nasty looking to sweep here. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nasty has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bronson doesn't defend quickly enough and Nasty has managed to lock this one up! Can Bronson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Nasty on a fantastic submission victory.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sonofabeetch looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A punch combination from Sonofabeetch misses. Kilo swings away with a leg kick that misses. Hart shoots for a double leg takedown but Ramsay sprawls well. He's pushed Hart's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ramsay tries to clinch there but Hart circles away.

Hart takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ramsay accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ramsay trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ramsay slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ramsay wants to control from the top but Hart keeps moving.

F won't allow Hytten to get back to his feet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hytten is on top in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hytten tries to lock up and control but F gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. F breaks from Hytten's wrist control and lands an elbow. Poor strikes thrown by F there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
F lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! F pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. F looking for a guillotine from mount but Hytten is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hytten tries to reverse the position but F maintains control. F punishing his opponent with strikes. A nice elbow there by F. F connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Hytten is rocked! F loads up with a big shot that hurts Hytten! He's pulled F in close but F has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Hytten survive? More strikes from F and Hytten is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
