The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wafu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts perform as he jumps to the side. Wafu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but perform paws at him with a jab and circles away. Wafu tries to clinch up. perform shoots in for a takedown but Wafu shows good takedown defense. Wafu darts in and clinches perform up against the cage. Wafu tries to pull guard but perform holds him up against the cage and eventually Wafu drops back down to his feet.

Wafu tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. perform just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caleb Wafu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wafu jumps guard and drags perform to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Wafu will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. perform trying to stand up but can't free himself from Wafu's guard. Wafu has perform pulled in close to control his posture. perform wants to pass the guard but Wafu is keeping the position. Wafu has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. perform doesn't defend quickly enough and Wafu has managed to lock this one up! Can perform escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Wafu on a fantastic submission victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A chopping leg kick lands by Cadwallader. Schutte avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cadwallader tries to clinch up but Schutte circles away and keeps his distance. Cadwallader tries to clinch but Schutte is having none of it. Schutte throws a head kick that misses. Cadwallader tries to clinch there but Schutte circles away.
Cadwallader bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Cadwallader stands up and beckons Schutte to his feet. Schutte with a lazy takedown attempt and Cadwallader counters by clinching up. Knees to the body from Cadwallader.
Cadwallader utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Cadwallader putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Schutte in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Schutte looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cadwallader lands a good knee to the midsection. Schutte won't want to take too many of those. Cadwallader with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Schutte tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cadwallader smiles and moves away.

Cadwallader gets a trip takedown into half guard. Cadwallader escapes and gets back to his feet. Cadwallader clinches with his opponent.

Cadwallader ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cadwallader no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Schutte really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cadwallader. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cadwallader controlling Schutte's posture. Schutte trying to control the position from guard on top but Cadwallader is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Schutte looking to sit in guard and control but Cadwallader gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schutte wants to sweep but no luck. Cadwallader stands and steps away. Schutte gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Rich Cadwallader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schutte tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cadwallader was well out of range. Poor timing from Schutte.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cadwallader displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Schutte throws out the jab. Schutte gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cadwallader counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Cadwallader misses with a few strikes there.
Cadwallader tries to clinch up. Schutte doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cadwallader counters by moving into the clinch. Cadwallader unloads a knee to the mid-section. Cadwallader unloads a knee to the mid-section. Schutte lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Cadwallader lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Mike Schutte has been cut. A frustrated look appears on Schutte's face as he tries to break the clinch. Cadwallader wants the takedown. Schutte is fighting it off but Cadwallader persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Schutte's guard against the cage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cadwallader engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Cadwallader gets to his feet. Schutte looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schutte doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Schutte circles away from the clinch attempt.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Cadwallader closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A knee to the head by Cadwallader.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cadwallader scores with a hook to the body. Schutte decides to pull guard. Cadwallader stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Schutte swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rich Cadwallader has scored more points in the clinch so far. Cadwallader creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Schutte's defenses. Cadwallader is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Schutte is defending well for now. Schutte is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cadwallader prevents Schutte from breaking the clinch. Schutte is trying to force a seperation but Cadwallader has the dominant position. Schutte jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cadwallader walks away with a smile on his face. Schutte gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Cadwallader - that will leave a mark!

Schutte tries to kick Cadwallader off but Cadwallader keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cadwallader stands up and beckons Schutte to join him on the feet.

But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Schutte, into his guard. Schutte wants to stand and escape but Cadwallader is having none of it. Schutte tries to land a sweep but no joy. Schutte is pulling down on Cadwallader's head to control his posture. Rich Cadwallader overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Schutte manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cadwallader manages to get himself to full guard.
Cadwallader is looking to stand up but Schutte isn't so interested in that idea. Schutte wants to stand and escape but instead Cadwallader has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Schutte is working an open guard so Cadwallader takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Member clobbers ibanez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Member throws a low kick, looking for ibanez's leg but ibanez calmly moves out of range. ibanez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Member swats him away and circles back towards the center. ibanez throws a series of punches but Member avoids them all with ease. ibanez closes the distance and clinches. Member is working for takedown but ibanez is calmly controlling the position for now. Member blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Member wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but ibanez has him pressed against the cage. Member breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A slapping body kick lands there for ibanez. Member throws a quick inside leg kick. Member misses with a jab, cross combination.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. ibanez stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Member to get to his feet. Gordon feints and as Smith raises his hands in defense, Gordon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smith keeping moving, preventing Gordon from controlling successfully. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Agid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tso was well out of range. Poor timing from Agid. Tso rushes Agid and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Agid avoids a wild elbow strike from Tso. Tso has Agid pressed against the cage, preventing Agid from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Tso digs a right hand into Agid's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Agid's gas tank. Agid looking for a takedown. Tso breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
General Tso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tso slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Tso tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Agid manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Tso scores with a hook to the body. Agid takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Agid fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tso wants to clinch up but Agid keeps it at a distance. The fight stays on the outside here - Tso looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Agid swats away the attempt to clinch by Tso. Agid fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Agid. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tso fails with an attempt to clinch.
Agid throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Tso lands a left and a right that send Agid crashing to the mat, dazed. Tso thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Agid is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tso throws an uppercut from hell that sends Agid clean off his feet! He's out cold! Tso stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
