The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jutila waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dunham. Jutila swings widly with a right hand
and Dunham counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Excellent takedown into side control there by Dunham. Dunham is looking to take a break and control but Jutila is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jutila struggling a bit here. Dunham wants to control but Jutila is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunham working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Jutila is looking to regain half guard here but Dunham keeps moving and retains side control. Dunham working the ground and pound but Jutila is defending the strikes. Dunham creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jutila sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dunham looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Jutila is avoiding damage well.

Dunham is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Dunham seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jutila for as long as he can get away with. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jutila can do anything to dispel that myth. Dunham trying to control the position from guard on top but Jutila is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jari Jutila is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dunham bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jutila's head.

and Dunham counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Jutila tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dunham was well out of range. Poor timing from Jutila. Dunham is looking to work some ground and pound but Jutila has wrist control. Dunham stopping the sweep attempt from Jutila. Dunham pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jedard pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kuorma taps out and this one is all over!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tasalakki gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Tasalakki will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ooka up against the cage. It looks like Paul Ooka has been cut. Tasalakki lands a hook that snaps the head of Ooka backwards. Ooka is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tasalakki pulls him back up using the underhooks. Tasalakki stalls. Tasalakki lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Tasalakki lands a body punch in the clinch. A short right from Tasalakki. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Tasalakki. Tasalakki gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Tasalakki lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ooka.

Ooka is still on wobbly legs! Can Tasalakki finish him? Tasalakki thuds his right hand into Ooka's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Tasalakki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ooka circles away quickly and effectively. Tasalakki lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Ooka goes down and covers up as Tasalakki starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

"I don't think so" says Highwayz as he avoids it easily. Gracie misses with a wild body shot. Highwayz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracie as he jumps to the side. Highwayz misses with a takedown attempt enabling Gracie to counter with a crisp jab. Gracie feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Highwayz sprawling to the canvas! Highwayz rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gracie finish him?!
Highwayz is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Gracie slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Gracie lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
