I think Ashley might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Continue To Be by David Arkenstone. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ashley is fending him off so far but cesar persists. Nope, Ashley circles away and we're back to standing. cesar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. cesar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Winston Ashley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of jullius cesar. cesar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ashley is fending him off so far but cesar persists. Nope, Ashley circles away and we're back to standing. cesar shoots in looking for a takedown but Ashley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing cesar's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Ashley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ashley showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in but Odeda avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jones shoots for a takedown but Odeda saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jones shoots in for a takedown but Odeda shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Odeda will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Odeda counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Odeda is looking to advance position but Jones won't allow it. Odeda is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Hanma connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. King misses with a hook. Hanma ducked under it nicely. Hanma scores with a nice body kick.

King cracks Hanma with a solid left hand. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hanma can do anything to dispel that myth. King stops Hanma from standing up. King could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Hanma is trying to keep King in close.
King is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hanma really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. King trying to control the position from guard on top but Hanma is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hanma is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst King is controlling him. King might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hanma keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully.

We're going to have a standup here because Josh King wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Sloppy strikes from King. Those never looked like landing. King throws a right hand that Hanma ducks under and follows up with a left that Hanma also avoids with ease. King thows a body shot but no joy. King misses the jab. King takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Hanma keeps the fight on the outside. King tries to bum rush Hanma with a series of wild strikes but Hanma uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hanma scores with a hook. King throws the left hand but Hanma avoids the punch easily. King has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Hanma misses with a few strikes there.

and Hanma counters with a nice uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! King looks to throw the jab but Hanma is out of range. Hanma lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. King throws a combination that misses and King takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hanma moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Hanma jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

The fighters circling - King throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hanma throws out a powerful jab. Hanma has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. King throws a lazy right hand but Hanma sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hanma connects with a crisp jab. Hanma is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Jack Hanma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hanma bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hanma lands a nice shot to the body.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hanma thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed King's head.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belfort throws a nice looking combination but BombZ bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Belfort swinging wildly here.
Belfort drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Belfort pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. BombZ is keeping the position for now. Belfort is looking to work some ground and pound but BombZ has wrist control. Belfort drops back looking for a leg! BombZ is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and BombZ manages to kick Belfort off! Belfort jumps back into BombZ's guard. Belfort advances position into side control! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ziegler closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Maurice did well to prevent Ziegler getting side control. Ziegler is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Maurice doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ziegler. Maurice is trying to stand up here but Ziegler is controlling him well. Maurice keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Maurice blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ziegler. Maurice tries to kick Ziegler off but Ziegler keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Ziegler working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ziegler is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Maurice is tapping out! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wills is looking to land body kicks. Wills tries to close the distance and clinch but Obusan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wills swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wills shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Obusan as he jumps to the side. Wills has managed to clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wills jumps guard and drags Obusan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Wills has a closed guard, preventing Obusan from standing up. Obusan trying to control the position from guard on top but Wills is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Wills is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Obusan is controlling him. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wills looking to hit a scissor sweep but Obusan is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Obusan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wills looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wills looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wills! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Obusan. Obusan lands a big right hand that sends Wills crashing to the mat! Obusan stays standing though and waves Wills back to his feet!

He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Mask misses with a body kick. Mask fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Londak, pushing him back against the cage. A nice glancing elbow lands by Mask.
The cut above Ragnar Londak's eye is starting to cause him problems now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mask can't find room to land a body shot as Londak controls the action.

Mask moves out of range of the strikes. Mask throws out a leg kick but Londak moves out of range and Mask only half commits. Mask looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Mask connects with a solid leg kick. Mask moves in looking to clinch but Londak pushes him off. Mask uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Londak. Mask walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Mask connects with an inside leg kick. Londak pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mask uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Londak.
Londak throws the left hand but Mask avoids the punch easily. Londak's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Mask lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Londak avoids the head kick by Mask.
Mask connects with an inside leg kick. Mask scores with a kick to the body.
Good leg kick by Mask there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Londak keeps the fight on the outside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mask throws a nice outside leg kick. Mask slips a jab from Londak. Londak tries to bum rush Mask with a series of wild strikes but Mask uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Londak is breathing heavily. Londak has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mask. An inside leg kick lands from Mask. Mask turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Mask lands a leg kick that knocks Londak off balance momentarily. A decent looking body kick lands there for Mask. Mask thumps Londak with a low kick. Mask clinches with his opponent.
Mask lands an elbow just above Londak 's eye. Mask doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Come on Mask - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mask lands a good knee to the midsection. Londak won't want to take too many of those. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mask content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Ragnar Londak's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Londak's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Londak blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Mask stalls. Mask lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Mask digs a right hand underneath Londak's ribcage. Londak let out a lung full of air as it connected. Mask tries to land knees in the clinch but Londak avoids the damage to the body. Mask lands a left hand.
Mask is looking to control Londak's arms but Londak gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mask has his back to the cage. Mask creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Londak's defenses.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ragnar Londak's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
