2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo Arona! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arona shoots in and drives through. Kealekapuna sprawls well. Arona shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kealekapuna but Kealekapuna pushes him off and we're back to square one. The crowd cheers as Kealekapuna lands an impressive looking overhand right. Arona doesn't seem phased though. Kealekapuna leaves Arona with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Moses Kealekapuna has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricardo Arona. Kealekapuna fakes the leg kick and cracks Arona in the body. Arona looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kealekapuna lands a right hook to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jinglez takes a swing at Reis Silva's ribcage but misses. Reis Silva shoots in but Jinglez avoids the takedown attempt easily. Reis Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Jinglez working for a triangle but Reis Silva defends it easily.

Jinglez wants to stand and escape but instead Reis Silva has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Reis Silva forces his way into half guard. Reis Silva lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Jinglez tries to kick Reis Silva off but Reis Silva keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reis Silva landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Jinglez seems to have got his legs back now. BOOM! Reis Silva connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Ronin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ronin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ronin wants it to stay on the feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ronin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Koscheck manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ronin has Koscheck in his guard. Ronin working a defensive guard but Koscheck passes into half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dennis shoots and misses and DeSouza counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. DeSouza tries to free his leg and advance position but Dennis is retaining full guard. Dennis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. DeSouza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dennis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
