Granit is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Christ pulls him back up using the underhooks. Christ has Granit pushed against the ropes. A body shot lands from Christ.

Christ stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Granit wants to break the clinch but can't.
Christ lands with a left to the head. Christ turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Christ manages to end up in side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Christ thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Christ advances to full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Christ dips to his left and cracks Granit with an uppercut! Christ throws a nice looking combination but Granit bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Christ changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Granit looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Christ is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Granit has escaped the position, nice work there. Granit is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Christ advances to full mount. Christ is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Granit can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Christ is working for a guillotine from mount but Granit frees his head quite easily.

BOOM! Christ connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Christ has isolated one of Granit's arms. Granit looking to fight him off but Christ twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Varas with a lazy takedown attempt and Mashburn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Varas takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Varas doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mashburn counters with a single leg into guard. Varas didn't expect that. Varas looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Mashburn puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Mashburn trying to control the pace. Let's hope that Mashburn has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. and McKinley counters with a solid body kick. McKinley scoring well with a low kick there.
Reagan takes a swing at McKinley's ribcage but misses. McKinley staying out of range there. A left lands for Reagan. McKinley throws a hook but Reagan avoids it easily. Reagan throws a big shot that misses. McKinley has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. McKinley keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Reagan. McKinley keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McKinley throws a jab but it's blocked by Reagan. McKinley with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Reagan misses with a left hand and McKinley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. McKinley ducks under a wild hook from Reagan. Reagan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McKinley. A swing and a miss from Reagan. Reagan swings and misses with a shot to the body and McKinley counters with a slapping leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Reagan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McKinley counters with a right hand to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKinley throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

letting McKinley counter with a right hand. McKinley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Reagan throws a lazy uppercut
and McKinley counters with a two punch combo.
Ronald Reagan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. McKinley has been the more effective fighter overall so far. McKinley explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Reagan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Reagan is rocked! McKinley lands with a kick to the temple. Reagan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Oh Reagan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jeez, Ronald Reagan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. The fighters circle, before McKinley throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Reagan's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! McKinley lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
