12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Teddy Parkinson! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parkinson throws a low kick, looking for Column's leg but Column calmly moves out of range. Column has a takedown stuffed. Parkinson scores with a jab to the body. Parkinson slips a jab from Column. Parkinson lands the left hand. Column fails to land with a series of punches.
Parkinson misses with a wild combination.
Column darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Parkinson tries to kick Column off but Column keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Parkinson is looking to control Column's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Parkinson avoid being mounted? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parkinson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Teddy Parkinson was stalling too much, according to the referee. Column throws a sloppy head kick and Parkinson moves out of range easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Parkinson scores with a nice right hand.
Column ducks under a wild hook from Parkinson. Nice cross by Parkinson. Column fails to land the takedown. Parkinson throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Parkinson misses with a hook. Column ducked under it nicely. Column misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Parkinson lunges at Column with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Column's hand. Column closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Parkinson to the mat! Parkinson manages to get full guard. Column is breathing heavily. Parkinson keeping moving, preventing Column from controlling successfully. Column trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Column prevents Parkinson from getting back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Column in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Parkinson wants to stand up but Column is controlling him.

Parkinson is looking to advance position but Column won't allow it. Column is trying to get back to full guard. Parkinson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Column tries to roll over but Parkinson keeps him under control. Parkinson wants to control but Column is keeping him busy. Parkinson is looking to advance position but Column won't allow it. Column won't allow Parkinson to pass to mount. Column is in trouble now - Parkinson has advanced to mount! Column is in all sorts of trouble here.

Column gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Parkinson gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Column is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

and Kahric decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ansturm's guard. Kahric won't allow Ansturm to sweep him here. Kahric drops back looking for a leg! Ansturm is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ansturm manages to kick Kahric off! Kahric jumps back into Ansturm's guard. Ansturm wants to sweep but no luck. Ansturm is looking to stand up but Kahric isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ansturm is on top in guard.
Ansturm content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Ansturm cracks Kahric with a solid left hand. Kahric is breathing heavily. Ansturm throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ansturm stands up over Kahric, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ansturm slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Check out the look on Ansturm's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Ansturm thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ansturm looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ansturm swings around for an armbar but Kahric sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ansturm's guard. Ansturm not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ansturm is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Ansturm uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Ansturm tries to bum rush Kahric with a series of wild strikes but Kahric uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kahric staying out of range there. Ansturm swinging wildly here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ansturm wants to clinch but Kahric slips to the side so Kahric counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Ansturm is pulling down on Kahric's head to control his posture. Ansturm kicks Kahric off and gets to his feet. Ansturm closes the distance and pushes Kahric back into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Georg Ansturm will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ansturm's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Ansturm duly obliges.
It looks like Samir Kahric has been cut. Kahric has a takedown stuffed. Ansturm connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Kahric tumbling to the canvas! Ansturm pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Kahric was done - good stoppage!

Autere trying to control but Perry is working from the bottom. Perry tries to land a sweep but no joy. Autere wants to control from the top but Perry keeps moving. Perry had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Autere defends it easily. Perry looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Autere really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Perry is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Perry escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Autere gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Green manages to get full guard. Amato with a nice head shot there. Green is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Amato is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Green wants to pass to mount but Amato is defending the position. Amato wants to control but Green is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Green seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Amato does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Amato is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Green's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Green's back!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Amato lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

The fight is ruled a draw! Reggie Green retains his title. It's always disappointing when a championship fight ends as a draw but that's what happens when you leave the fight in the judges hands!
