Spare throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dlute counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Spare throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Spare throws an off balance right hand

and Dlute counters with a crisp right hand that drops Spare! Dlute lets Spare back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Dlute takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dlute rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Spare moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Spare throws a poor cross that misses

and Dlute counters with a single leg into guard. Spare didn't expect that.
Dlute postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Dlute has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Spare has his foot on Dlute's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dlute works his way back into a safe position though.
Dlute makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Dlute tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dlute has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spare is looking to reverse the position.
Spare is trying to control Dlute's posture but Dlute avoids it.

Dlute is working to tighten is grip on Spare's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Spare has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Dlute is really squeezing tight and eventually Spare passes out! Dlute breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Mangler comes to the cage accompanied by I Stand Alone. Flintstone has chosen Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff as his entrance music. Seth Mangler could well score a knockout today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mangler closes the distance looking to clinch
and Flintstone counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Flintstone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mangler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Flintstone seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Let's hope that Flintstone has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Flintstone content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Mangler has locked up a guillotine! Mangler's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Flintstone is holding on here and Mangler must be using up a lot of energy. Flintstone has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Mangler gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
