Gonzaga isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. ya vebuka stacks Gonzaga on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by ya vebuka! Gonzaga is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, ya vebuka asserts his dominance and retains side control. Gonzaga sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Slatovisk's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uzomaki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hoffman lands with a hook. Uzomaki tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Uzomaki dodges the punch combination from Hoffman.

Nice sprawl there from Uzomaki as Hoffman shoots in. Hoffman throws a series of punches but Uzomaki moves out of range. Hoffman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Uzomaki's waist but Uzomaki gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hoffman off to one side. Uzomaki avoids a low kick by using good footwork.  That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Uzomaki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hoffman does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Uzomaki moves out of range of the body kick. A head kick misses from Uzomaki. Horrible takedown by Hoffman or perhaps it was just good defense by Uzomaki which made him look bad. Uzomaki keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hoffman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Uzomaki counters with a crisp one two that drops Hoffman! Uzomaki thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hoffman to his feet! Hoffman is in big trouble! Hoffman is breathing heavily. Hoffman tries for a takedown but Uzomaki circles away easily
and Uzomaki counters with a big slam. Hoffman looks out but Uzomaki is landing strikes to his unconscious opponent! Eventually the ref steps in to save Hoffman from any more punishment. A brutal conclusion to the fight!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maguire shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Miro as he jumps to the side. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Maguire is defended easily by Miro. Maguire has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Miro. Maguire on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Maguire drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Nice straight punches there by Miro. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Miro. Maguire is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Miro. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Miro scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Miro uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Maguire has time to react. Miro connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Maguire! He's out on his feet! Miro rushes in and drops Maguire with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
