The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bush throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bush off to one side.
Johnson swats away the attempt to clinch by Bush.
Bush is looking to clinch but Johnson is avoiding it.
Johnson connects with a leg kick. Bush looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bush shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Bush's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bush closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnson circles away.
Ricky Dale Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gorgeous Bush.
Bush's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Johnson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bush scrambles back to his feet.
