The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lukens shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Floyd as he jumps to the side.

Floyd wants to clinch up but Lukens keeps it at a distance.
Nice sprawl there from Floyd as Lukens shoots in.

Rizzo tries to clinch up.
Creed wants to clinch but Rizzo slips to the side

and Rizzo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rizzo.
Rizzo blocks an elbow strike from Creed.
Rizzo lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Rizzo wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Creed's closed guard. He's half up but Creed has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Creed pivots and extends the arm, Rizzo falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Creed! Well done that man!

MaCauley blocks a head kick by Black.
Black looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Black stalks MaCauley and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into MaCauley's face. MaCauley staggers backwards, shaken.
Black throws a right hand that MaCauley ducks under and follows up with a left that MaCauley also avoids with ease.
Black throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Black misses with a two punch combination.
Black looks to land a body kick but MaCauley moved away.
Black lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as MaCauley backs up against the cage.
Black throws a right and a left that MaCauley avoids nicely.
Black dances in with a quick combination. MaCauley is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Black snaps MaCauley's head back. MaCauley stumbles backwards against the cage. Black steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with MaCauley's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. MaCauley just didn't come prepared.

Novikov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Colin Jacobs.
