The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Lavi has a takedown stuffed.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Lavi tries to stall but Alves uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Alves manages to break the clinch.
Lavi shoots in looking for a takedown. Alves tries to sprawl out of it but Lavi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Alves manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
