The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grabowski connects with a vicious head kick that knocks de Guzman to the floor! Grabowski dives in looking for the finish!
de Guzman is rocked! Grabowski prevents de Guzman from improving his position. de Guzman is still in real trouble! Can Grabowski finish him? Grabowski stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. de Guzman misses with a body shot.
de Guzman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. de Guzman seems to have recovered his senses. de Guzman misses with a jab, cross combination.
de Guzman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Grabowski is fending him off so far but de Guzman persists. Nope, Grabowski circles away and we're back to standing. de Guzman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Grabowski. 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joe Rogain! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogain tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rogain thows a body shot but no joy. Silva checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Rogain is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rogain stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet. Rogain throws a head kick that misses. Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Rogain circles away.
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rogain pinned against the cage. Rogain gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rogain moves into the clinch. Silva pulls guard successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva kicks Rogain off and gets to his feet. Rogain throws a body kick that misses. Silva showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rogain.
Rogain throws a body punch but Silva moves out of range. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Silva - that will leave a mark!
Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Rogain sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mauricio Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogain misses with a head kick.
Rogain throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Rogain. Silva takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Silva looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rogain! Rogain is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Silva postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rogain looks a forlorn figure.
Silva moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Rogain has worked his arm free - good work by Rogain!
Silva swings around for an armbar but Rogain sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Silva's guard. Silva is breathing heavily. Rogain gets to his feet. Silva looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Rogain scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Silva doesn't seem bothered though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A bone on bone clash there as Silva blocks the leg kick.
A head kick misses from Rogain. Rogain throws out a powerful jab. Rogain tries to land a leg kick but Silva saw it coming and moves away.
Rogain lands a lovely overhand right. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Silva closes the distance and clinches. Rogain wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Silva tries to pull guard but Rogain holds him up against the cage and eventually Silva drops back down to his feet.
Silva has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rogain is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Rogain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A clash of legs there as Silva blocks the low kick. Silva throws a lazy body kick and Rogain counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Silva thinking. Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Joe Rogain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Silva throws out a powerful jab. Silva shoots and misses and Rogain counters with a nice body shot. Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rogain to the mat! Rogain manages to get full guard. Silva drops back looking for a leg! Rogain is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rogain manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Rogain's guard. Silva trying to control but Rogain is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva is looking to work some ground and pound but Rogain has wrist control. Rogain wants to get back to his feet but Silva is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Silva has gone for a leg lock! Rogain slips out almost immediately though and dives into Silva's guard. Rogain must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Silva looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Rogain is defending well. Silva quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Rogain has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Silva celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Reyes throws a sloppy head kick and Dover moves out of range easily. A head kick misses from Reyes. Reyes looks to land a combination but Dover avoids it well. Reyes pulls out of a head kick attempt.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Reyes is breathing heavily. Reyes throws a head kick but Dover moves out of range.
Reyes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dover tries to avoid it but Reyes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dover to the ground. Dover escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nelson Reyes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dover lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Reyes shoots for a double leg takedown but Dover sprawls well. He's pushed Reyes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Reyes thows a left - swing and a miss!

and Dover counters with a slapping leg kick. A decent looking cross lands there for Dover. Dover buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Reyes misses with a takedown and Dover counters with a two punch combo. Reyes throws a lazy head kick and Dover counters with a good low kick that Reyes was not able to check. Reyes doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dover finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Reyes throws a sloppy head kick and Dover counters with a solid body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reyes throws a head kick that misses and Dover counters with a head kick. Reyes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Dover counters with a three punch combo that has Reyes backing up. Reyes nods at Dover to acknowledge the strikes. Reyes fails with the takedown and Dover makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dover.
Dover scores with a one two! Reyes had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Reyes misses with a hook to the body
and Dover counters with a body kick that stops Reyes in his tracks momentarily. Dover is working the combinations to good effect here. Reyes throws a sloppy head kick and Dover makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Reyes clinches but Dover breaks the clinch and Dover counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Reyes misses with a takedown attempt and Dover counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Reyes tries to move into range but Dover moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Reyes throws a head kick that misses and Dover counters with an outside leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Reyes throws a sloppy head kick and Dover counters with a one-two to the body. Reyes throws a head kick that misses and Dover counters with a thumping low kick. Reyes with a poor takedown and Dover counters with a low kick, right behind Reyes 's knee. Dover connects with a high kick.

Turolla slips under a jab from Salama. Nice takedown defense from Salama. No joy for Turolla on that attempt. Turolla on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Turolla is rocked! Salama throws an uppercut from hell that sends Turolla clean off his feet! He's out cold! Salama stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cassemiro can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Williams is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cassemiro controlling the position easily from mount. Williams is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Williams tries to hold on but Cassemiro postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cassemiro unloading with bombs! Cassemiro moves to take his opponent's back. Williams is in bad spot here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cassemiro looking for the choke but no joy. Williams wants to get back to his feet. Williams trying to control but not successfully. Williams is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Cassemiro.
Cassemiro is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Williams knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Williams for a finish. Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cassemiro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cassemiro is breathing heavily. Williams is keeping busy.
Williams is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Williams controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Cassemiro avoiding Williams 's attempts to control his hands. Cassemiro has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Williams's body.
Cassemiro patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Williams is trying to stand back up. Cassemiro working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. I really don't envy Williams right now.
Cassemiro working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Williams is doing well to defend. Cassemiro seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Williams is forced to tap and this one is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tenn scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Tenn tries for a kimura but Sobral is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sobral is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tenn off and has taken his back! Sobral is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Sobral looking to break Tenn's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Tenn remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Sobral will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Tenn rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Sobral prevents Tenn from improving his position. Sobral throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Tenn tries to get to full guard but Sobral has control of the leg. Sobral is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tenn doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sobral. Sobral looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Tenn is trying to maintain the position but Sobral is very close to passing his half guard. Tenn actively working from the bottom here. Tenn won't allow Sobral to pass to mount.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tenn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Sobral is looking to regain half guard here but Tenn keeps moving and retains side control. Tenn is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sobral is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sobral is trying to get back to half guard. Sobral gets back to half guard. Hamalainen tries to close the distance and clinch but Bojangles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Horrible takedown by Hamalainen or perhaps it was just good defense by Bojangles which made him look bad. Bojangles feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hamalainen's calf. Hamalainen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown.
