The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanson throws a hook to the side of McDougall's head but McDougall sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hanson shoots in and drives through. McDougall sprawls well.

Hanson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Hanson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

McDougall drops back looking for a leg! Hanson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hanson manages to kick McDougall off! McDougall jumps back into Hanson's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McDougall trying to control the position from guard on top but Hanson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

McDougall stands up and waves to Hanson to follow him.
Hanson misses with a looping left.

Hanson looks to land a left hand but McDougall moved out of range nicely.

McDougall closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hanson did well to prevent McDougall getting side control.
Hanson is breathing heavily.

McDougall is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hanson is just riding it out for now. McDougall eventually gives up the hold.

McDougall escapes and gets back to his feet.
McDougall lands a big right hook! Hanson looks hurt but is still standing! McDougall lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Hanson falls down and McDougall dives in with a huge hammer fist! Hanson's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and McDougall runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Richards connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Richards's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Shrimp connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Richards scrambles back to his feet.
Richards just misses with a punch to the body.
Shrimp takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Richards throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Richards scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Shrimp doesn't seem bothered though.
Richards cracks Shrimp with a good jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nice defenses there by Richards.
Shrimp tries a head kick but it misses.
Richards throws a chopping leg kick but Shrimp manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Takeshi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Knocks sprawls well. Knocks wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Takeshi gets slowly back to his feet.

Takeshi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Knocks but Knocks pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Smith dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Whopper. That did some damage!
