0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Saeng Arthit! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Svensson misses with a straight right. Svensson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. A jab from Svensson finds it's way through Arthit's defenses. Svensson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Svensson cracks Arthit with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Svensson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Arthit's waist but Arthit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Svensson off to one side. Svensson lands with a shot to the body. Svensson lands with a good body shot. Svensson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Arthit back to the cage. Svensson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Svensson throws a good cross that connects.

That's one minute gone in the round. Svensson jabs at Arthit's body. Arthit throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Saeng Arthit is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice jab there from Svensson. Svensson throws a shot from downtown. Arthit moves away and avoids it. Svensson with a hook. Arthit shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Ingvar Svensson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Arthit takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Svensson jabs Arthit to the body, keeping him at a distance. No joy there for Svensson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Arthit has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Arthit there as he acknowledges the shot. Arthit doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Svensson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Svensson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Arthit takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Svensson lunges at Arthit with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Arthit's hand. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Almeida wants to clinch but Caym slips to the side and Caym counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Almeida working a defensive guard but Caym manages to pass into side control anyway.

Almeida closes the distance looking to clinch and Caym counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Almeida's guard now. This has been an exciting period of action! That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Caym decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Almeida, up you get! Almeida could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Almeida tries for a takedown but Caym circles away easily and Caym counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Almeida's guard now. Caym looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Caym passes Almeida's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Almeida might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pyrrus throws a body kick that misses. Pyrrus is looking to chop away at Volkhov's legs. Volkhov misses with a kick to the body.

Kanne jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Murphy from any more punishment! Murphy complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Girl is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Oh Girl is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Girl is breathing heavily. Jackson lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Girl up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Jackson from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Girl's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
