2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Petter Anier! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anier scores with a takedown into Altajew's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anier trying to control but Altajew is working from the bottom. Anier wanted to stand there but Altajew had control of the position. Altajew lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Anier! Altajew avoids the attempt from Anier to control. Anier is desperately trying to improve his position but Altajew has a good base and remains in mount. Anier tries to hold on but Altajew postures up. Altajew working the ground and pound effectively.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anier is looking to get to half guard. Altajew won't let Anier get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Anier working to try and regain half guard.

Anier is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anier is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Altajew breaks from Anier's wrist control and lands an elbow. Altajew landing strikes from the mount. Anier tries to buck Altajew off but he can't manage it. Anier is looking to improve his position but Altajew isn't that keen on the idea. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Anier tries to hold on but Altajew pushes him away. Anier tries to reverse the position but Altajew maintains control. Altajew won't let Anier get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Anier regains half guard. Altajew working Anier over with strikes.

He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Altajew's half guard. Anier looks gassed! Anier thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Altajew moves into full guard.
Anier wants to control from the top but Altajew keeps moving. Anier slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Anier decides to stand up, so the ref orders Altajew to his feet. Anier fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anier pivots, looking for a leg kick but Altajew is out of range and Anier settles back down. Excellent takedown into side control there by Anier. Anier tries for a kimura but Altajew is defending well. Anier stands up and we're back to a striking position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anier lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Anier's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Anier duly obliges. Anier misses with a kick to the body.
No luck for Anier with that takedown attempt. Altajew takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Anier shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Altajew manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Anier is working Altajew over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Altajew trying to keep a closed guard but Anier is proving a slippery customer.
Anier scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Anier gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Anier drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Anier stands and steps away. Altajew gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Anier closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anier decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Anier feints and as Altajew raises his hands in defense, Anier changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Anier drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Altajew dives on top into guard. Altajew wants to control from the top but Anier keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anier pulls Altajew in close to his closed guard and prevents Altajew from doing any damage or advancing position. Anier wants to sweep here but Altajew controlling him for the moment. Anier wants to get back to his feet but Altajew is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Anier has his feet on Altajew's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Anier looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Anier throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Altajew was covering up waiting for the punch and Anier finishes the takedown easily into guard. Anier is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Let's hope that Anier has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Anier must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Anier makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Anier stands up from guard. Let's bang! Anier scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Altajew is letting Anier control him for a moment. Anier cracks Altajew with an elbow. That is naaassty. Anier working the ground and pound. Anier tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Anier lands a few punches from side control. Anier is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Altajew has escaped the position, nice work there. Anier working the ground and pound.

Altajew knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Anier scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Altajew to see if he's OK. Altajew takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Petter Anier showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

"Ole!" shouts Altajew as he jumps to the side. Karim Altajew has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Petter Anier. That's one minute gone in the round. Anier kicks off Altajew and gets to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Anier decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Anier decides to return to a standing position. Anier lands a nice looking body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Anier is defended easily by Altajew. Altajew misses with a takedown attempt - Anier sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Horrible takedown by Anier or perhaps it was just good defense by Altajew which made him look bad. Anier doesn't succeed with the takedown and Altajew counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Altajew preventing the sweep. Altajew wants to control from the top but Anier keeps moving.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Altajew tries to get back to half guard but can't. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anier sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that's the end of the fight! Petter Anier comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Anier has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thunder shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Tyler blocks the body kick.
Tyler misses with a wild body shot. Thunder wants to slow Tyler down by chopping away at his legs. Tyler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thunder moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Tyler shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Thunder is trying to defend but Tyler finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Thunder is trying to maintain the position but Tyler is very close to passing his half guard. Tyler missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Thunder trying to hold on to Tyler's head to control him but Tyler postures up.

Tyler wants to control the pace but Thunder is squirming around nicely. Thunder tries to lock up and control but Tyler gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Tyler scoring with strikes but Thunder is staying in there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thunder tries to hold on but Tyler postures up. Thunder seems to have recovered his senses. Tyler scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Tyler lands a big shot there that rocks Thunder but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Tyler landing punches. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A big strike lands for Tyler! That's really hurt Thunder and he's turned his back - Tyler keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Tyler jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Guillaume Blue! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Will Kennedy! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kennedy moves in looking to clinch but Blue pushes him off. Blue shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kennedy counters by clinching up. Blue tries for a takedown but Kennedy manages to get underhooks.
Kennedy gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. A knee to the head by Kennedy.
Blue is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kennedy gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guillaume Blue. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blue goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kennedy prevents it.
Kennedy unloads a knee to the mid-section. Blue lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Kennedy lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Kennedy lands an elbow that stopped Blue in his tracks for a moment. Kennedy with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Blue is working for position but Kennedy cracks him with a big knee to the head! Blue crumples up against the cage and Kennedy lands two more shots before the ref can save Blue! This one is all over!
