1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabricio Werdum! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva throws a head kick but Werdum moves out of range.
Werdum scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Silva is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Werdum is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Werdum tries for a kimura but Silva is defending well. Werdum has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Silva fails in his attempt to clinch. Silva has his takedown stuffed and Werdum counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Werdum tries for a kimura but Silva is defending well. Werdum wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working. Werdum prevents Silva from escaping the position. Werdum is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Silva is trying to escape and Werdum transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Silva is forced to tap! Nice work there by Werdum! Very nice indeed!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vrabiuta looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Adulyadej is fending him off so far but Vrabiuta persists. Nope, Adulyadej circles away and we're back to standing. Adulyadej tries to clinch there but Vrabiuta circles away.
Vrabiuta shoots in for a takedown but Adulyadej shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Adulyadej tries to keep at a distance but Vrabiuta has taken the fight into the clinch. Adulyadej prevents the takedown attempt.
Sagat Adulyadej has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Radu Vrabiuta. Adulyadej connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Radu Vrabiuta has been cut. Vrabiuta is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Vrabiuta takes a knee to the side of the body. Adulyadej tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Vrabiuta avoids it. Adulyadej connects with a nasty looking knee right to Vrabiuta's face.
Vrabiuta looks gassed! Adulyadej with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Vrabiuta is rocked! Adulyadej lands a big knee to the head and Vrabiuta goes down! Adulyadej pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oviedo tries to clinch but Jack is having none of it. Jack swinging wildly here.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jack. Oviedo fails with the takedown. Jack gets in close and instigates a clinch. Oviedo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jack gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jack keeps control of Oviedo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jack is stalling here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matos moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off. Matos tries to clinch there but Gracie circles away.
Matos throws a nice looking combination but Gracie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Gracie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt. Matos feints and then cracks Gracie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracie down. Matos lands a big head kick that sends Gracie tumbling to the mat! Matos takes a step backwards and waves Gracie back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Nate Gracie has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Matos tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Matos finish him? Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Matos.
Gracie seems to have recovered his senses. Gracie keeps the fight on the outside. Matos has managed to clinch.
Matos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Matos slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gracie looks gassed! Matos is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matos tries to clinch there but Gracie circles away.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Matos pinned against the cage. Matos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ravi Matos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nate Gracie. Matos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gracie, pushing him back against the cage. Matos manages to break the clinch.
Matos slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ravi Matos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gracie tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Matos tries to clinch but Gracie moves out of range. Matos shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Matos showed some decent athleticism there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Matos is keen to just control but Gracie is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like Matos is going to stand back up.
Matos not landing any meaningful shots this time. Gracie is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Matos scores with a couple of nice shots. Matos lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Matos controlling the action here. Matos is thwarting Gracie's attempts to control the position. Matos throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Gracie blocking the ground and pound attempt from Matos. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Matos is working away from the top position though. Gracie manages to get to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Matos trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Matos missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Matos wants to stand but Gracie is controlling his posture from full guard. Gracie wants to stand but Matos is controlling the position. Matos has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Matos would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Gracie looking to control.
Gracie looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracie, not yet. Matos trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Matos is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gracie has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Matos is looking to defend but Gracie has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Matos! Gracie pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Matos taps out and this one is all over!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Souza. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Souza eats them both and turns towards Grande to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Grande throws a wild combination but nothing lands. No luck with that takedown attempt from Souza. Grande lands a jab-cross combination. Souza dodges the punch combination from Grande.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Grande will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Grande stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Grande changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Grande is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Souza rather than just go for the knockout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Grande throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Souza. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chico Grande dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Damian Souza is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Souza throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Grande tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Souza is in Grande's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Grande controls Souza momentarily but Souza frees himself. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Grande holds on and takes a little breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. Souza wants to control from the top but Grande keeps moving. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Souza pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Grande is keeping the position for now.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Grande does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Souza on the wrong end of a nice jab. Souza takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Grande will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Grande scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Grande throws a chopping leg kick but Souza manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Chico Grande seems to be getting the better of the standup. A right-left combo lands from Grande. Grande closes the distance and lands a one-two. Grande lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Souza backs up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grande throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Souza stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Grande digs a good hook to Souza's body.
Grande throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Souza. No joy there for Grande, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Grande lands with a nice combination. Souza backs away looking to recover. Souza dodges the punch combination from Grande.
Grande connects with a jab. Grande throws a right hand that Souza ducks under and follows up with a left that Souza also avoids with ease. Souza avoids a punch combination nicely.

Grande scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Grande lands with a nice combination. Souza backs away looking to recover. Souza looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Grande with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Grande goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Grande rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Souza moves out of range and avoids them all easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Grande throws a series of punches but Souza moves out of range. Grande lands a jab-cross combination. Grande has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Grande scores with a hook to the body. Souza takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chico Grande showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Souza steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Grande. That one must have hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Grande.
Grande throws a nice looking combination but Souza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Grande thuds a left hand into Souza's body. Souza is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Grande. Souza shrugs it off though. Grande lands a front kick. Grande misses with a few strikes there.

Souza moves out of range of the body kick. Chico Grande is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Grande lands with a nice body punch. Grande throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Grande stalks Souza and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Souza's face. Souza staggers backwards, shaken. Souza showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Grande.
Damian Souza has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Grande lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenps closes this distance looking for a takedown but St Patrick circles away. St Patrick swings away with a leg kick that misses. Kenps slips under a jab from St Patrick. Kenps shoots in looking for a takedown. St Patrick tries to sprawl out of it but Kenps keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. St Patrick manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. St Patrick misses with a kick to the body.
St Patrick throws a right and a left that both miss. St Patrick looks to score with a jab to the body but Kenps is just out of range. Oooooh!!! St Patrick has knocked Kenps down with a huge combo! St Patrick steps away and waves a wobbly Kenps back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Slow Kenps has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! St Patrick keeps Kenps at a distance using the push kick. Oh Kenps is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kenps is breathing heavily. Kenps dodges the punch combination from St Patrick.
Kenps seems to have got his legs back now. St Patrick circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Kenps to the canvas! Kenps doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - St Patrick keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
