and Silva counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Angelo's guard now.

Silva drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Angelo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silva has Angelo in his guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dada doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Bob counters with a takedown into side control.
Dada wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Bob works to advance to full mount. Dada defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Bob is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dada can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Dada manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Dada pushes Bob off and gets back to his feet.
Bob swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dada is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dada fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Dada attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Bob shoots in for a double leg but Dada sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bob misses with a left hand
and Dada counters with a nice leg kick.
Dada tries for a takedown but Bob sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Big Bob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Don Dada.

Bob throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dada walks into a stiff left hand from Bob.
Bob moves out of range of the leg kick from Dada.
Bob rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dada moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A big right from Dada misses.

and Bob counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bob walks into a left hand.
Bob comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A shot to the liver by Bob. Beautiful body shot.
Dada cracks Bob with a good jab.
Dada throws a poor cross that misses
and Bob counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bob scores with a hook.
Bob connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dada momentarily.
Dada ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The fighters circling - Dada throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dada doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bob counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dada closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Dada is rocked!
Bob dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dada is still on wobbly legs! Can Bob finish him?
Bob throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Big Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dada has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bob finds it's way round the side to connect with Dada's head.

Bob shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Dada looking for submissions off his back.
Dada tries to kick Bob off but Bob keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Bob keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Dada seems to have recovered his senses.
Dada looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bob with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bob is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Dada is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
