The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tamada is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sapp is just riding it out for now. Tamada eventually gives up the hold.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Murakami drops Pingshaw with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pingshaw looks back up at him and smiles so Murakami waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Pingshaw loses concentration momentarily and Murakami pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Pingshaw crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Murakami finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
