The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva looks to clinch and McDonald counters with a nice uppercut. McDonald shoots and misses and Silva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Silva has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of McDonald is proving hard to escape from. McDonald wants to stand but Silva is controlling the position. Silva is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Silva throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Silva lands a couple of decent looking shots. McDonald keeping moving, preventing Silva from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Silva controlling the position.

That sent Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Silva swings and misses with a shot to the body and McDonald makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Silva wants to clinch and McDonald counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. McDonald won't allow Silva to sweep him here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McDonald accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Silva manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McDonald manages to get himself to full guard.

Araya pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

King is controlling Slice's posture. King wants to sweep but no luck. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as King holds on and takes a little breather. King is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bravado sprawls well initially but Angle persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Angle is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bravado sees it coming and defends easily. Angle is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bravado is just riding it out for now. Angle eventually gives up the hold. Bravado trying to control but Angle postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Bravado has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Angle has passed into side control.
Angle swings around for an armbar but Bravado sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Angle's guard. Bravado postures up in Angle's guard and throws a big left but Angle blocks it. Bravado is looking to work some ground and pound but Angle has wrist control. Bravado advances to half guard. Bravado content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Bravado works his way into side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bravado in side control lands a decent elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bravado trying to control but Angle is having none of it. Bravado lands a big shot there that rocks Angle but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

And that's the end of the fight! Eddie Bravado comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bravado has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Paul Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Williams goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Williams wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williams plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Rafter has his takedown stuffed and Williams finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Williams lands a nice looking body kick. Williams thuds his shin into the meat of Rafter's side. Williams throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
