The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kringle swings away with a body shot that misses
and Drake connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kringle misses with an uppercut. Drake saw that one coming. Drake takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kringle looks to land a combination but Drake avoids it well. Kringle throws a right hand that misses

Kringle tries to clinch but Drake moves out of range. Drake lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kringle circles away quickly and effectively. Chris Kringle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kringle misses with a right hand and Drake counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kringle thinking. Kringle has closed the distance and engaged Drake in a clinch.

Haage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Borgermoen manages to avoid it. Borgermoen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Haage to the mat! Haage manages to get full guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Partizan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Berglomi's waist but Berglomi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Partizan off to one side. Berglomi scores with a decent looking hook. Berglomi slaps away a takedown attempt from Partizan, before circling back to the center of the mat. Berglomi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Partizan. Partizan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Berglomi sprawls well initially but Partizan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Partizan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Berglomi keeps working. Partizan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Berglomi is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Partizan tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Berglomi. Partizan stalling away here and it's allowed Berglomi to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Partizan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Berglomi wants to stand and escape but Partizan is having none of it.

He obviously fancies his chances standing. Partizan shoots for a double leg takedown but Berglomi sprawls well. He's pushed Partizan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caro Partizan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Partizan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Berglomi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Berglomi has knocked Partizan down with a huge combo! Berglomi steps away and waves a wobbly Partizan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Berglomi looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Berglomi backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Partizan's temple! It sends Partizan violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Berglomi celebrates and the doctors try to help Partizan!

Aquilani misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Aquilani throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kao slips nicely into half guard. Kao trying to control the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sin Kao was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kao wants to clinch letting Wigger counter with a right hand. Kao closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Wigger wants to break the clinch but can't.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Horrible takedown by Wigger or perhaps it was just good defense by Kao which made him look bad. Kao tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Kao has Wigger pressed against the ropes, preventing Wigger from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kao breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kao gets a clinch. Kao jumps guard and drags Wigger to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Wigger trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Kao manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Kao slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Abu Dubai. Vera closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dubai circles away.
