Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between MARTIN BRYANT (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jeff Nelson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson throws a low kick but BRYANT avoids it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

BRYANT darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Nelson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

BRYANT is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nelson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time BRYANT.
Nelson trying to hold on to BRYANT's head to control him but BRYANT postures up.

BRYANT is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Nelson flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Nelson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. BRYANT is working away from the top position though.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. BRYANT connects with a nice short shot to Nelson's temple.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

BRYANT is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Nelson pulls his head out easily.
Nelson drops an elbow to the side of BRYANT's head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nelson is just content to waste time from the top position. BRYANT takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Jeff Nelson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Nelson throws a right hand that BRYANT ducks under and follows up with a left that BRYANT also avoids with ease.
Nelson throws a series of punches but BRYANT moves out of range.
Nelson tries to clinch up.
BRYANT throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nelson's waist but Nelson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing BRYANT off to one side.

so BRYANT counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
BRYANT knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nelson on the ground.

Nelson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. BRYANT is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nelson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take BRYANT's back instead.

BRYANT manages to reverse the position and now he's in Nelson's guard. Nice work there by BRYANT.
BRYANT will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Nelson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

BRYANT slips nicely into half guard.

BRYANT closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - BRYANT lands in his opponent's guard.

BRYANT drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and BRYANT jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

BRYANT drops back, looking for a kneebar! Nelson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Nelson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Nelson!

BRYANT is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Nelson pulls his head out easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
BRYANT moves into full guard.

Elo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Helsinki City Boy. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Nice uppercut lands for Elo. That snapped Fowler's head back.

Elo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fowler is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Elo.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jakamo Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patrick Bell struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 137.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Bell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bell looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Bell walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bell takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Bell circles away.
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
Bell on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bell tries to land a front kick but Jones steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bell tries to move into range but Jones moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hazard has hold of Leino's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Leino seems comfortable defending it but Hazard has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Leino is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Leino is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hazard couldn't care less - he's delighted!
