Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wright ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Scarpa moves away.
Scarpa leaves his chin hanging out and Wright seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Scarpa crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Patrol comes to the cage accompanied by All the way crunked up -lil jon ft waka flocka. Boner Patrol could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Vick Armstrong's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Boner Patrol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vick Armstrong!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Patrol scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Patrol working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Armstrong struggling a bit here.

Patrol is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Armstrong has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Patrol wants to take a breather but Armstrong manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Patrol.
Patrol trying to control the position from guard on top but Armstrong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Patrol trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Patrol working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Armstrong's head.
Patrol pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Armstrong is keeping the position for now.
Patrol postures up.
Patrol with a flurry of punches that miss.
Armstrong looking for a sweep. Not yet Armstrong, not yet.
Patrol tries to free his leg and advance position but Armstrong is retaining full guard.
Patrol throws and elbow that misses. Armstrong uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Patrol's guard. Nice move by Armstrong!
Patrol looking to hit a scissor sweep but Armstrong is one step ahead there.
Patrol trying to keep a closed guard but Armstrong is proving a slippery customer.
Patrol has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Patrol throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
Armstrong won't allow Patrol to sweep him here.
Patrol wants to hit a switch here but Armstrong passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Patrol there!
Patrol tries to hold on but Armstrong pushes him away.
Patrol working to try and regain half guard.

Armstrong has hold of Patrol's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Patrol manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Patrol swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Patrol sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Patrol is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Armstrong's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Armstrong's back!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Patrol misses with an elbow to the head.
Patrol is looking to control Armstrong but Armstrong is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Patrol throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Armstrong trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Patrol is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Armstrong defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Armstrong tries to escape but Patrol has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Patrol lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Patrol misses with punches from the back.
Patrol is throwing strikes by Armstrong counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, Armstrong regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boner Patrol dominated that round.
That's time! Patrol's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Patrol gets the takedown into side control.
Patrol throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Patrol creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Armstrong sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Patrol grinds an elbow into Armstrong's temple.
Patrol sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Armstrong is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Patrol scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Armstrong to see if he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Armstrong managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Patrol.

Patrol tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Patrol has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Armstrong parries the strikes from Patrol easily there. Patrol is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Armstrong to escape.

Armstrong takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Boner Patrol overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Patrol scores with a couple of short elbows.

Patrol tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Patrol thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Armstrong on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Armstrong stops Patrol from passing to mount.

Armstrong is not content to let Patrol control the position.
Patrol lands some shots froms side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Patrol has an Americana. Armstrong didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Patrol is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Patrol hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Boner Patrol!
