The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krathulian shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Krathulian checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Smith scores with a nice strike. Krathulian throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Krathulian off to one side. Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Krathulian moves out of range easily. Krathulian's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Smith connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Krathulian scrambles back to his feet. Smith displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Smith scores with a nice right hand.
Nice body punch from Smith. Smith moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Krathulian fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kathos Krathulian. That's going to take a lot out of him. Some wild striking there from Smith.
Smith misses with a head kick.
Krathulian tries to clinch up and Krathulian takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Smith throws a series of punches but Krathulian avoids them all with ease. Krathulian moves into the clinch. Krathulian keeps control of Smith as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krathulian throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Smith blocks it with crossed arms. Smith is trying to push Krathulian away but Krathulian has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Smith wants to break the clinch but can't.
Smith is looking to break free of the clinch but Krathulian has double underhooks. Smith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Smith defending well as Krathulian loads up on a big left hand. Smith misses with a wild body shot. Smith stuffs the takedown. Smith throws a series of punches but Krathulian moves out of range. Smith cracks Krathulian with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Krathulian showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Smith.

Smith looks gassed! Nice sprawl there from Smith as Krathulian shoots in. Smith throws a series of punches but Krathulian moves out of range. Krathulian avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Krathulian decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Smith pushes Krathulian off and gets back to his feet. Smith connects with a crisp jab. Smith dodges the punch combination from Krathulian.
Krathulian scores a takedown into full mount! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smith can do anything to dispel that myth. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith is trying to stand. Krathulian looking to finish Smith with some ground and pound. This is bad for Smith! Smith is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Krathulian postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Smith looks a forlorn figure.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Krathulian pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Smith wants to try and get back to his feet. Krathulian has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Smith's face.
Krathulian won't let Smith get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Krathulian lands a nice shot to the head. You get the feeling that Smith really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Smith is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Krathulian unloading with bombs! Krathulian lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Smith is bucking up trying to escape but Krathulian cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Smith squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Smith has left one of his arms exposed and Krathulian doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Smith screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanders throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so Watson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Sanders not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Sanders swivels though and keeps the full guard. Watson landing with the ground and pound. Sanders manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Watson pushes down on Sanders's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sanders wants to control but Watson is keeping busy.

Isamu Minowa dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Savage takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Isamu Minowa has been cut. Minowa moves in looking to clinch but Savage pushes him off. Minowa shoots for a double leg takedown but Savage sprawls well. He's pushed Minowa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Minowa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Minowa. Savage tries to clinch up and Minowa counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Minowa gets underhooks to prevent Savage's takedown attempt.

That was a close second round but I would say that Randy Savage will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Isamu Minowa's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Minowa is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Savage defends it well. Minowa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Savage does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Well, if Minowa is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Savage is looking for a sweep. Minowa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Minowa landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Savage is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Minowa pulls his head out easily. Savage misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Minowa works his way into side control. Savage is not content to let Minowa control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Minowa advances to mount. Minowa looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Isamu Minowa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Minowa has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
