The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caufield with a lazy takedown attempt and Tagliabue connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Caufield with a poor takedown and Tagliabue counters with a nice uppercut. Caufield takes a shot right to the bread basket. Caufield wants to clinch and Tagliabue counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Caufield takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Caufield is rocked! Oooooh!!! Tagliabue has knocked Caufield down with a huge combo! Tagliabue steps away and waves a wobbly Caufield back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Oh Caufield is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Caufield takes a shot right to the bread basket. Tagliabue lands a brutal uppercut that launches Caufield off his feet! Caufield tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

"Ole!" shouts Pootawn as he jumps to the side. Herrera shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pootawn sprawls well. Pootawn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chisley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hammer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chisley in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Chisley postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Chisley is pushing down on Hammer's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hammer is fighting to maintain full guard but Chisley has managed to sneak the leg through. Chisley throws a strike but Hammer avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Chisley is looking to work some ground and pound but Hammer has wrist control. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Chisley decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hammer to his feet. Hammer steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Chisley. That one must have hurt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hammer takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Oloc Chisley. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chisley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Isildor connects with a jab. Isildor tries a head kick but it misses.
Isildor drops his hands momentarily and Pazzini takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Pazzini looks for a takedown but Isildor sprawls well. Isildor darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A leg kick checked by Pazzini. Isildor cracks Pazzini with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Pazzini throws a head kick but Isildor moves out of range.
Pazzini throws a combination that misses and Isildor counters with a head kick. That will keep Pazzini thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Pazzini is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pazzini checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. and Isildor counters with a straight right hand. Isildor circles away from the clinch attempt and Isildor counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pazzini's knee momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Isildor dives in looking to finish! Pazzini is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
