Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Fox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andreas Schankelies! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schankelies moves into the clinch successfully.
Schankelies gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Schankelies decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Fox throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Schankelies's waist but Schankelies gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fox off to one side. Fox throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Schankelies looks gassed! Fox fails to land the takedown. Schankelies fails in his attempt to clinch. Schankelies shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fox as he jumps to the side. Schankelies shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fox but Fox pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fox will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Fox. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schankelies circles away from the clinch attempt and Schankelies holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Fox prevents a takedown attempt there.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Poffo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Mana! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Mana with that takedown attempt. Mana decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Poffo wants to control but Mana is keeping busy and won't allow it. Mana is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Poffo is breathing heavily. Mana is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Poffo has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mana is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Poffo has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Poffo! Mana trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Mana looking for a guillotine here but Poffo defends easily.
Mana seems keen to control Poffo's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mana looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Poffo puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Poffo looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Poffo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mana tries to roll over but Poffo keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Poffo working over Mana with some ground and pound. Mana looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Mana tries to roll over but Poffo keeps him under control. Poffo passes into side control, despite Mana's attempt to control the position.
Mana throws Poffo to one side and escapes! Mana fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Poffo, pushing him back against the cage. Mana tries to pull guard but Poffo won't allow it.
Mana crunches a lovely knee into Poffo's ribcage. Poffo fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Mana can't get the takedown.
Randy Poffo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Mana. Come on Mana - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mana is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Poffo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mana controls the pace. Mana stands up over Poffo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Mana being controlled here momentarily. Mana pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Poffo is keeping the position for now. Mana is stalling in the full guard. Poffo has an active guard here but Mana has managed to pass into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mana is controlling the pace.
Mana is trying to control the action in half guard but Poffo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Mana is nestled in close to Poffo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Poffo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Poffo is trying to maintain the position but Mana is very close to passing his half guard. Mana is looking to advance position but Poffo won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Mana dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Poffo wants to clinch but Mana slips to the side and Mana counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mana in particular looking to stall. Poffo looking for submissions off his back. Mana decides to return to a standing position. Poffo misses with a takedown and Mana counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Poffo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mana.
Poffo thows a body shot but no joy. Mana tries to clinch but Poffo is having none of it. Mana scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mana scores a takedown into full mount! Poffo tries to hold on but Mana postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mana get's back to his feet. Mana throws a head kick but Poffo moves out of range.

Poffo gets caught flat footed, as Mana shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Mana looking to pass the guard. Mana stands up from Poffo's guard - Mana perhaps looking for a knockout. Poffo closes the distance looking to clinch so Mana counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mana stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Poffo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mana stands up and waves to Poffo to follow him. Mana looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Poffo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mana decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Poffo's guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randy Poffo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mana trying to control the position from guard on top but Poffo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mike Mana has got the better of the ground game so far. Mana not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Mana postures up and lands a big shot to Poffo's brow. Mana stands up from guard. Let's bang! Mana shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Poffo's guard. Poffo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mana is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mana pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Poffo is keeping the position for now. Mana slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Mana postures up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Poffo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. A nice elbow there by Poffo. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Mana showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Poffo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Mana shoots for a double leg takedown but Poffo sprawls well. He's pushed Mana's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mana instigates a clinch. Poffo avoiding damage as Mana throws knees to the body.

Mana has his feet on Poffo's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Mana closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mana breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Mana changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Poffo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Mana working the ground and pound. Poffo is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Mana is working Poffo over with some ground and pound from side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poffo is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Mana is looking to take a break and control but Poffo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mana tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Mana wants to control but Poffo is keeping him busy. Poffo is looking to regain half guard here but Mana keeps moving and retains side control. Mana is staying tight to Poffo's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mana wants to control but Poffo is keeping him busy. Poffo throws Mana to one side and escapes! Poffo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mana counters with a left to the body. Poffo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Poffo has a takedown stuffed. Mana tries to close the distance and clinch but Poffo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mana looks to score with a jab to the body but Poffo is just out of range. Poffo wants to clinch but Mana slips to the side and Mana counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Mana seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Mana trying to control from half guard but Poffo is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mana is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Poffo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mana. Poffo controlling the position well. Mana is looking to take a break and control but Poffo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mana is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Poffo pushes Mana off looking to stand but Mana dives back in and keeps control.
Poffo is staying active underneath Mana, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mana clinches up against the cage. Mana has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Poffo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Mana tries for a takedown but Poffo manages to get underhooks.
Randy Poffo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Mana. Mana lands a shoulder strike. Poffo jumps guard but Mana stands there with Poffo around his waist. Poffo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Mana breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Poffo with a lazy takedown attempt and Mana counters with a shoot takedown. Poffo fights it but they end up in guard. Poffo looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mana passes into half guard.
Randy Poffo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mana lands strikes from half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Mana comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mana has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! JOYCE moves out of range of the strikes. JOYCE connects with a nice cross there... Warrior is looking wobbly and JOYCE recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Warrior to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - JOYCE jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
