The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bags.
Bags fails with a takedown attempt.

Acton feints and as Alves raises his hands in defense, Acton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Alves isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Acton stacks Alves on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Acton!
Alves tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Acton wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Well Hoffman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Armstrong is working to tighten is grip on Klotzk's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Klotzk has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Armstrong is really squeezing tight and eventually Klotzk passes out! Armstrong breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
