 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cottle throws a combination. Nelson tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Nelson dodges the punch combination from Cottle.
Cottle shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Nelson fails with a takedown attempt. Nelson swinging wilding here.
Cottle keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nelson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nelson shoots in for a double leg but Cottle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DJ Nelson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cottle throws a right and a left that Nelson avoids nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cottle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Nelson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cottle scores with a one two! Nelson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Nelson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nelson moves into range and clinches up with Cottle.
Nelson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Cottle is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Nelson is controlling him well.
Nelson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cottle, who protects the arm well. Nelson is looking to take a break and control but Cottle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cottle is pushing Nelson's head away, looking to escape. Nelson manages to hold on to the position though.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Cottle's face as Nelson controls the position.
Nelson swings around for an armbar but Cottle sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Nelson's guard.
Nelson pushes Cottle off and scrambles back to his feet.
A left and a right from Cottle both land. Nice combination. Cottle keeps the fight on the outside. Cottle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nelson tries to avoid it but Cottle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nelson to the ground. Nelson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Horrible takedown by Nelson or perhaps it was just good defense by Cottle which made him look bad.
Nelson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cottle, pushing him back against the cage. Nelson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nelson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Cottle uses from the top position.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Cottle works over Nelson's head and body with a nice combination. Nelson shoots in looking for a takedown. Cottle tries to sprawl out of it but Nelson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cottle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nelson closes the distance and clinches up with Cottle, looking for a takedown. Nelson pushes Cottle against the cage but Cottle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Cottle goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
 Nelson is rocked!
Cottle gets a takedown into half guard. Oh Nelson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cottle decides to stand up. Cottle throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Nelson stumbling backwards into the cage! Nelson bounces back off the cage towards Cottle, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Cottle lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Cottle celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Swearingen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chase swivels though and keeps the full guard. Chase is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Swearingen has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Swearingen thows a big elbow that misses. Chase not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Swearingen is working Chase over with some ground and pound from side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Swearingen connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Chase some visible discomfort.
Swearingen in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Swearingen cracks Chase with an elbow. That is naaassty. Swearingen has knee on belly and moves into mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Swearingen avoids the attempt from Chase to control. Swearingen throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Chase because Swearingen loaded up on that one. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Swearingen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick lands from Weiser that sends McSideburns to the canvas. McSideburns tries to scramble back to his feet but Weiser brings him back down into side control.

 It looks like Theodore McSideburns has been cut. Weiser advances to full mount. McSideburns is still in real trouble! Can Weiser finish him? Weiser trying to control but McSideburns is having none of it. Weiser throwing strikes here but McSideburns is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
McSideburns seems to have recovered his senses. McSideburns tries to reverse the position but Weiser maintains control. Weiser lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Weiser is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But McSideburns has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from McSideburns! Weiser working a defensive guard here.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McSideburns takes a little break here. Weiser wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. McSideburns tries to advance to mount but Weiser denies him.
McSideburns decides to take the fight back to the feet. McSideburns shoots in but Weiser avoids the takedown attempt easily. A head kick by McSideburns misses and Weiser makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Weiser is breathing heavily. McSideburns misses with a hook. Theodore McSideburns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McSideburns dodges the punch combination from Weiser.
A nice inside leg kick there by Weiser. That's going to slow McSideburns down. Weiser cracks McSideburns with an open hand slap.

Weiser throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh McSideburns colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Weiser as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and McSideburns is left battered and dazed whilst Weiser and his camp cheer!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans dodges the punch combination from Pardy.
Pardy throws out a loose jab but Evans uses good head movement to avoid it. Evans misses with a takedown attempt - Pardy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Evans fails in his attempt to clinch. Pardy lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Evans misses with a few strikes there.
A head kick by Evans misses and Pardy counters with a left and a right that stings Evans. Pardy works over Evans's head and body with a nice combination. Pardy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pardy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Evans moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pardy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Evans counters with a left and a right that stings Pardy. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pardy throws a head kick that Evans semi-blocks.
 Evans is rocked! Evans thows a body shot but no joy. Evans is still on wobbly legs! Can Pardy finish him? Pardy moves in close and cracks Evans with a massive right hand! Evans, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the cavas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Pardy!

Potko moves into the clinch. Pardy tries to score a body lock takedown but Potko shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Potko wants a takedown but no success here.

 Panu Potko's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson showed some decent athleticism there. Johnson sitting and controlling from the half guard. Johnson wants to free his trapped foot but Jackson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Johnson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Johnson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Johnson is working for a kimura but Jackson is defending it quite comfortably.
