The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magee takes the fight into the clinch.

Grime comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Grime bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Magee's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Magee can do anything to dispel that myth.

Grime seems to have got his legs back now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Grime had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Magee is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Grime Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Magee's back instead.

No joy there for Herbert, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hunter would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Harmon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Russell is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Harmon, into his guard.

Harmon has his foot on Russell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Russell works his way back into a safe position though.

Harmon doesn't care though - he's delighted!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fredrick Stonewall.
