The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cherry shoots for a double leg takedown but Hall sprawls well. He's pushed Cherry's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hall scores with a hook to the body. Cherry takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Hall darts in and clinches Cherry up against the ropes.
Hall misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Cherry.
Cherry is working for takedown but Hall is calmly controlling the position for now.
