The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

JAMES closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - JAMES lands in his opponent's guard.
JAMES tries to free his leg and advance position but Hardy is retaining full guard.
Hardy looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hardy is on top in guard.
JAMES manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
JAMES throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Hardy tries to reverse the position but JAMES maintains control.

Malians has chosen Right Now - Van Halen as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Green fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Malians looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Green throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Malians.
Some wild striking there from Green.
Green looks to land a combination but Malians avoids it well.
Malians takes a shot right to the bread basket.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Green looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Green fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Green misses with a straight right.
Malians displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Green throws out the jab.

Green gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Malians.

Malians goes for a takedown in the clinch but Green prevents it.

Green escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Green scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Green throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Horrible takedown by Malians or perhaps it was just good defense by Green which made him look bad.
Reggie Green has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Malians.
Green buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Green throws a shot to the body.
Malians tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Green swivels and escapes.
Malians looks gassed!
Green pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Green fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Malians is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Malians is rocked!

Green darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Malians's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Green before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
