Bigs looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Schankelies is fending him off so far but Bigs persists. Nope, Schankelies circles away and we're back to standing.

Schankelies shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Schankelies was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Mana throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Suksmeof's waist but Suksmeof gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mana off to one side.
Mana looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mana closes the distance and clinches up with Suksmeof, looking for a takedown. Mana pushes Suksmeof against the cage but Suksmeof circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Suksmeof feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vick wants to clinch up but Some keeps it at a distance.
Vick shoots in but no luck this time.

Some gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Some manages to break the clinch.

Horrible takedown by Vick or perhaps it was just good defense by Some which made him look bad.
Vick closes this distance looking for a takedown but Some circles away.

Some is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Vick has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

What can Vick do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
I looks like Some might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
