0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Babe Ruth! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bader doesn't manage to clinch there - Ruth circles away.
Ruth wants to clinch and Bader counters with a takedown into side control. Bader stands up and we're back to a striking position. Ruth fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ruth shoots and misses and Bader moves into the clinch. Bader goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ruth prevents it.

Bader tries to keep at a distance but Ruth has taken the fight into the clinch. Bader could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bader is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ruth is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bader to the mat. Bader regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Ruth must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bader throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fox shoots in and bounces Lesner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lesner on the ground. Lesner looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Lesner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lesner trying to control the position.
Fox trying to control but Lesner is working from the bottom. Lesner tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lesner is trying to control the position but Fox postures up. That's better than Lesner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Lesner wants to control the pace but Fox is squirming around nicely. Lesner content just to control the position here. Lesner throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Fox gets back to half guard. Lesner throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Fox is refusing to be controlled, as Lesner sits in half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lesner takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Fox will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Fox shoots in but no luck this time. Fox shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lesner's guard. Lesner looking to control.

Fox feints and as Lesner raises his hands in defense, Fox changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Fox is looking to stand up but Lesner won't let him. Lesner throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Lesner looking for a sweep. Not yet Lesner, not yet. Lesner is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lesner had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fox is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lesner Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fox's back instead. A lull in the action here.
Lesner is looking for the choke from the back position but Fox is controlling his hands well. Lesner somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesner landing with strikes. Lesner working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Fox covering up well and avoiding damage. What can Fox do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Fox looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fox wants to get back to his feet. Lesner trying to control the action but Fox is working from the bottom. Fox tries to escape but Lesner is in control. Lesner stands up and beckons Fox to his feet. Fox tries for a takedown but Lesner circles away easily and Lesner counters with an inside leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Fox. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lesner gets a clinch. Lesner manages to pull guard.

GIVENS comes to the cage accompanied by Im going to fuck you up . XANDER GIVENS had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The key to victory for XANDER GIVENS has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Warrior just trying to survive but Jalinski is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Jalinski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Warrior has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Jalinski cracks Warrior with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Warrior from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schankelies throws a leg kick but Hosseini checks it. A nice inside leg kick there by Schankelies. That's going to slow Hosseini down. Schankelies scores with a push kick. Schankelies throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Schankelies misses with a takedown attempt - Hosseini sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Schankelies tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hosseini swats him away and circles back towards the center. Schankelies could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Hosseini scores with a takedown into Schankelies's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schankelies is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Schankelies can't keep his opponent in guard - Hosseini advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Hosseini takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. And that's the end of the fight! Khaled Hosseini comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hosseini has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harper looks for a takedown but Balls sprawls well. The fight stays on the outside here - Harper looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Harper tries to close the distance and clinch but Balls swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Harper doesn't manage to clinch there - Balls circles away.
