Barbarian has chosen Iron Man as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Brutus Barbarian was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roessler shoots in for a takedown but Barbarian shows good takedown defense.
Barbarian circles away from the clinch attempt.
Barbarian gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Roessler counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Roessler is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Barbarian is just riding it out for now. Roessler eventually gives up the hold.

Roessler wants to work for an arm triangle but Barbarian is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Barbarian is kicking away at Roessler from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Roessler grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a hell hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Barbarian trying to push Roessler off... Barbarian taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
