Riva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hacklepool's waist but Hacklepool gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Riva off to one side. No luck for Riva with that takedown attempt. Tim Hacklepool has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Belnick Riva. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hacklepool! Riva is out on his feet! Hacklepool rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Riva is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Riva is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Zuzhinin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Chan is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Zuzhinin lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Torres . Torres shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rambo pinned against the cage. Rambo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rambo tries to close the distance and clinch but Torres swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rambo tries to clinch up. The fight stays on the outside here - Rambo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Torres swings away with a leg kick that misses. Rambo getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Torres swats away the attempt to clinch by Rambo. Rambo misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Torres lands with a nice body kick. Rambo tries to clinch up but Torres circles away and keeps his distance. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rambo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Torres - the referee stops the clock and Rambo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Torres . Rambo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Rambo pushes Torres up against the ropes in a clinch.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rambo's guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jackson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shavnetski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Shavnetski struggling a bit here. Jackson prevents Shavnetski from escaping the position. Shavnetski is looking to regain half guard here but Jackson keeps moving and retains side control. Shavnetski is trying to control Jackson's posture but Jackson avoids it. Shavnetski manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Shavnetski is looking for a sweep. Jackson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jackson misses with a head shot. Shavnetski uses the momentum to regain guard. Jackson throwing strikes but missing. Shavnetski keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Shavnetski looks to land a left hand but Jackson moved out of range nicely. Shavnetski throws a push kick but Jackson slaps the foot to one side. Shavnetski throws a shot from downtown. Jackson moves away and avoids it. A nice leg kick lands there from Shavnetski. Jackson throws a left that rocks Shavnetski and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Jackson dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Shavnetski regain composure!

It looks like Vitus Shavnetski has been cut. Jackson looks gassed! Shavnetski is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Oh Shavnetski is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The ground and pound from Jackson seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Shavnetski takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shavnetski is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Jackson cracks Shavnetski with a big elbow. Jackson working the head and body with strikes. Jackson scoring with punches and elbows. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson is trying to move to mount but Shavnetski reverses beautifully and ends up in Jackson's guard. Jackson wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Shavnetski is now in half guard. Jackson wants to get back to full guard. Shavnetski seems to have got his legs back now. Jackson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jackson throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

A much better position for Jackson. Shavnetski preventing the sweep. Shavnetski trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Shavnetski ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Jackson ducks right into an uppercut from Shavnetski. Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Shavnetski throws a combination that misses and Jackson counters with a series of strikes that sends Shavnetski to the canvas! Jackson follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shavnetski not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shavnetski tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jackson trying to control but Shavnetski is working from the bottom. Jackson postures up and lands a big shot to Shavnetski's brow. Jackson is looking to advance position but Shavnetski has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Jackson tries to hold on but Shavnetski pushes him away. Shavnetski wants to control the pace but Jackson is squirming around nicely. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jackson can do anything to dispel that myth. Jackson is desperately trying to improve his position but Shavnetski has a good base and remains in mount. Shavnetski wants to control the pace but Jackson is squirming around nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shavnetski is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jackson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dixon Jackson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Vitus Shavnetski's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Shavnetski misses with a takedown and Jackson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Vitus Shavnetski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shavnetski has his takedown stuffed and Jackson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jackson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Shavnetski counters with a series of strikes. Jackson will be more careful next time no doubt. Shavnetski looks to land a combination but Jackson avoids it well. Jackson throws a combination that misses and Shavnetski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Shavnetski. Shavnetski wants to clinch but Jackson slips to the side and Jackson counters with a left and a right that stings Shavnetski. Shavnetski wants to clinch and Jackson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jackson. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jackson lands a couple of elbows. Shavnetski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Shavnetski is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Shavnetski breaks the clinch.

Shavnetski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jackson scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Shavnetski wants to stand but Jackson is controlling the position. Jackson looking to pass the guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Shavnetski is on top in guard.

Jackson is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Shavnetski is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Shavnetski landing strikes from the mount and Jackson is in trouble! Shavnetski controlling the position easily from mount. Shavnetski scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Jackson?
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shavnetski is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jackson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Shavnetski is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jackson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

And that's the end of the fight! Vitus Shavnetski showed his dominance in that final round. I think Jackson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adonis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Adonis throws a jab but it's blocked by Vovchanchyn. Adonis shoots for a takedown but Vovchanchyn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Horrible takedown by Adonis or perhaps it was just good defense by Vovchanchyn which made him look bad. Adonis tries to clinch but Vovchanchyn is having none of it. Adonis shoots in for a double leg but Vovchanchyn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julius Adonis. Vovchanchyn is rocked! Adonis throws an uppercut from hell that sends Vovchanchyn clean off his feet! He's out cold! Adonis stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rafer throws a sloppy head kick and Zinoviev moves out of range easily. Zinoviev misses with an uppercut. Rafer slips a straight right by Zinoviev. Zinoviev dips to his left and cracks Rafer with an uppercut! Zinoviev missing with a left hand there. Rafer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Zinoviev lands a lovely overhand right. Zinoviev is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rafer. Zinoviev throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Rafer colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Zinoviev as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Rafer is left battered and dazed whilst Zinoviev and his camp cheer!
