0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sid Bristol! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shane Williams! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bristol takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A head kick by Bristol misses and Williams counters with a nice kick to the body. Bristol pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Williams throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Williams swinging wilding here.
Bristol clobbers Williams with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Bristol with a jab. A nice leg kick lands there from Williams. Williams misses the shot to the body. Williams lands a body shot.
Sid Bristol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bristol has time to react. Williams shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bristol pinned against the cage. Bristol gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Williams throws a one two combo.
Bristol shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Williams as he avoids it easily. Williams lands the left hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Williams looks to land a combination but Bristol avoids it well. Bristol just misses with a punch to the body.
Bristol throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Williams counters with a three punch combo that has Bristol backing up. Bristol nods at Williams to acknowledge the strikes. Bristol tries a head kick but it misses.
Williams doesn't manage to clinch there - Bristol circles away.
Williams drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bristol manages to work his way to half guard, despite Williams's best efforts. Williams missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Williams not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bristol is trying to get back to full guard. Bristol is breathing heavily. Williams wants to stand up but Bristol has a hold of him and won't allow it. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Williams lands a nice short elbow. Bristol is in trouble now - Williams has advanced to mount! Williams has hold of Bristol's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bristol manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Bristol bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Bristol is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bristol won't allow Williams to get back to his feet. Williams is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Williams utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Williams wants to stand and escape but Bristol is having none of it. Bristol throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Williams works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bristol stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard. Williams is looking to stand up but Bristol isn't so interested in that idea.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bristol lands with a nice combination. Williams backs away looking to recover. Williams closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Williams lands in his opponent's guard. Bristol has a closed guard, preventing Williams from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams is looking to work some ground and pound but Bristol has wrist control. Williams stopping the sweep attempt from Bristol. Bristol manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bristol working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Williams is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Bristol prevents Williams from getting the reversal. Williams sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Bristol is looking for a kimura here.

Williams tries to roll over but Bristol keeps him under control. Williams wants to get back to his feet. Bristol is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Williams doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bristol. Williams is trying to stand up here but Bristol is controlling him well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bristol wants to free his trapped foot but Williams is holding on for dear life with his legs. Bristol throws a right and a left that both miss. Bristol scores with a punch to the head. Williams walks into a left hand. Williams misses with a takedown attempt - Bristol sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Williams has a takedown stuffed. Williams throws a head kick that misses. Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bristol's waist but Bristol gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side. Sid Bristol has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Williams. Williams ducks under a wild hook from Bristol. Williams looks to land a right hand but Bristol moved out of range. Nice sprawl there from Bristol as Williams shoots in. Bristol shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bristol slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Williams is trying to buck Bristol off. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Williams is trying to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Bristol misses with a double jab.

Sid Bristol is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Williams throws a half hearted mid kick. Williams misses with a left hand and Bristol counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bristol connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Williams momentarily.

and Williams counters with a series of strikes. Bristol will be more careful next time no doubt. Williams misses with the combination.
Bristol throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

A right-left combo lands from Bristol. Williams dodges the punch combination from Bristol.
Williams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Danga de danga de dang - Bristol scores with a four punch combination! Williams throws a sloppy head kick and Bristol moves out of range easily. Williams lands with a nice combination. Bristol backs away looking to recover. Williams is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bristol changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Williams looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Williams avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Bristol. Williams tries to bench press Bristol off him but Bristol keeps the position. Bristol wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Williams, who protects the arm well. Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bristol. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Williams tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bristol wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Williams is trying to buck Bristol off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams tries to improve position but can't. Bristol is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Williams is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Williams is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bristol asserts his dominance and retains side control. Bristol is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Williams is trying to escape and Bristol transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Williams is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bristol! Very nice indeed!

Wyman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Scream Aim Fire. Graffin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. American Jesus by Bad Religion kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Cooper Wyman could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Greg Graffin's chin.

Graffin fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Graffin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Wyman is looking to regain half guard here but Graffin keeps moving and retains side control. Wyman can't do much from the bottom here. Wyman manages to work his way to half guard, despite Graffin's best efforts. Wyman is trying to stand.
Graffin wants to pass the guard but Wyman is defending well. Wyman is controlling Graffin's trapped leg to prevent Graffin from advancing to side control. Graffin passes to full mount! Wyman wants to hold on but Graffin pushes him away.

Greg Graffin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Graffin looks to land a combination but Wyman avoids it well. Graffin has Wyman up against the cage in a clinch.

Greg Graffin has got the better of the ground game so far. Wyman being controlled here, momentarily. Graffin postures up and lands a big shot to Wyman's brow. Graffin won't allow Wyman to get back to his feet. Graffin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wyman is keeping the position for now. Graffin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Wyman is working an open guard so Graffin takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Graffin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wyman pinned against the cage. Wyman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Wyman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Graffin sprawls well initially but Wyman persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Graffin manages to escape and get back to his feet! Graffin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wyman wants to control but Graffin postures up. Cooper Wyman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wyman is looking for a sweep. Wyman looking for a sweep but Graffin has passed into full mount! Oh no! Graffin controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Graffin looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Wyman tries to lock up and control but Graffin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Graffin controlling his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Greg Graffin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Graffin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortiz keeps the fight on the outside. Guevara tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ortiz swivels and escapes. Tito Ortiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Guevara. Ortiz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ortiz content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Guevara looking to control.

Ortiz lands some shots froms side control. Ortiz is working Guevara over with some ground and pound from side control. Ortiz scores with punches from side control. Guevara tries to improve position but can't. Ortiz wants to control but Guevara is keeping him busy. Guevara could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ortiz landing a few strikes. Ortiz cracks Guevara with an elbow. That is naaassty. Ortiz working the ground and pound. Guevara is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ortiz's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Guevara is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ortiz pulls his head out easily.

Guevara seems to have got his legs back now. Ortiz landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Guevara avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ortiz. Ortiz throwing shots but Guevara is blocking nicely. Ortiz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guevara. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ortiz is looking to stall here but Guevara recovers full guard. That was a close second round but I would say that Huell Howser will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
