The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schankelies bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Schankelies is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Obama will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Schankelies decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Schankelies is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Obama is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Obama flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Schankelies anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Obama and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Schankelies slips an arm under Obama chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Schankelies has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Schankelies is squeezing on Obama like an anaconda would it's prey. Obama fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Vick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vick pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Vick moves into range and clinches up with SHAMROCK.
Vick tries to pull guard but SHAMROCK holds him up against the cage and eventually Vick drops back down to his feet.
Vick stops a takedown attempt from SHAMROCK.

Vick tries to score a body lock takedown but SHAMROCK shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Let's hope that SHAMROCK has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
