The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peralta misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Otorboater lands a with a good body shot. Peralta looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Otorboater is fending him off so far but Peralta persists. Nope, Otorboater circles away and we're back to standing. Good work by Otorboater as he checks the leg kick. Luis Peralta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peralta thows a body shot but no joy. Peralta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Otorboater moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Otorboater looks to land a combination but Peralta avoids it well. Peralta throws a series of punches but Otorboater avoids them all with ease. Otorboater gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Otorboater keeping full guard, as Peralta tries to pass. Peralta is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Otorboater is in trouble! Is it all over??? Peralta had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Otorboater is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Peralta Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Otorboater's back instead. Peralta tightening his grip on Otorboater, looking for the choke. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Some bone on bone action there as Peralta checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Otorboater. Peralta throws a nice looking combination but Otorboater bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Otorboater tries to bum rush Peralta with a series of wild strikes but Peralta uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Peralta swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Jesper Rush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rush lunges at Morris with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Morris's hand.
