Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucca Atreides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Crudd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atreides kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Remember the name. Lucca Atreides had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hjalte swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bjorn Hjalte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Florian shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Florian showed some decent athleticism there.
Florian prevents Hjalte from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Florian is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hjalte is refusing to be controlled, as Florian sits in half guard.
Hjalte is looking to escape.
Florian is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Florian trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Florian wants to finish this one by submission but Hjalte is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Florian.
Hjalte is bucking up trying to escape but Florian cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
