0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mo Washington! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adrian Pasco! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Washington feints and as Pasco raises his hands in defense, Washington changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Pasco wants to get back to his feet but Washington is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Pasco doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Washington controls from within his opponent's guard. Pasco is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Washington trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pasco is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Pasco controls Washington momentarily but Washington frees himself. Washington landing with the ground and pound.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Pasco looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pasco shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Washington's guard. Pasco would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Washington scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Washington avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Washington bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Washington has knee on belly and moves into mount. Pasco looks gassed! Washington has control of Pasco's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pasco regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Pasco wants to control but Washington is having none of it. Washington in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Washington avoids the attempt from Pasco to control. Pasco has given up his back. Will we see Washington going for some submissions?

Washington has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Pasco. Washington really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Washington just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Washington controlling the positon. Washington seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pasco for as long as he can get away with.

What can Pasco do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Washington has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Pasco has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Washington trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Pasco manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mo Washington dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Pasco must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Washington wants to sweep here but Pasco controlling him for the moment. Washington has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pasco preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Pasco is trying to get back to full guard. Washington decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Pasco rushes Washington and presses him up against the cage. Pasco looking for a takedown. Washington wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pasco has him pressed against the cage. Pasco throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Washington blocks it with crossed arms. Pasco goes for a takedown attempt but Washington pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Washington shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Washington was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Washington will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Pasco is looking to improve his position but Washington isn't that keen on the idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pasco gets back to half guard. Washington scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Pasco tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Pasco is trying to control but can't.
Pasco wants to get back to full guard. Washington tries to pass to full mount but Pasco defends it. Washington blocks the strikes from Pasco.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Pasco blocks a head kick by Washington.
Pasco wants to clinch up but Washington keeps it at a distance. Pasco rushes Washington and presses him up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pasco has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Washington uses from the top position. Washington looking to pass the guard. Washington stands up from Pasco's guard - Washington perhaps looking for a knockout. Washington keeps the fight on the outside. Pasco closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Washington tries to strike but it doesn't land. Washington wants to control but Pasco postures up. Washington is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Pasco is controlling him well. Pasco wants to control but Washington is keeping him busy. Pasco decides to stand back up. Pasco steps back and let's Washington get back to his feet.

Mo Washington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adrian Pasco. Washington takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pasco throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Pasco is trying to stand up here but Washington is controlling him well. Mo Washington overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The fighters are battling for position here. Pasco manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Pasco keeping full guard, as Washington tries to pass. Pasco wants to sweep but no luck. Washington gets to his feet. Pasco looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Washington shoots in looking for a takedown. Pasco tries to sprawl out of it but Washington keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pasco manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Washington tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pasco swats him away and circles back towards the center. Washington throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pasco's waist but Pasco gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Washington off to one side. Pasco fails miserably with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Mo Washington will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

Washington drives through with a takedown into guard. Washington is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Washington's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Pasco is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Washington preventing the sweep.

Pasco is looking to stand up but Washington isn't so interested in that idea. Washington gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Pasco shoots in from a long way out. Washington changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pasco looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Pasco is looking for a sweep. Washington is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pasco knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Pasco is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Washington decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Pasco gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Pasco wants to sweep but no luck. Pasco wants to stand but Washington is controlling the position. Washington wants to control from the top but Pasco keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Washington stands and steps away. Pasco gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pasco tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Washington shoots for a double leg takedown but Pasco sprawls well. He's pushed Washington's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Pasco pushes Washington up against the cage in a clinch. Washington misses with a shot to the kidneys.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mo Washington. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pasco misses with a short punch on the inside. Washington tries to stall but Pasco uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Washington is fighting off a takedown attempt but Pasco is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Washington to the mat. Washington regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Washington is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Pasco trying to control but Washington is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pasco looking to sit in guard and control but Washington gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Washington wants to control from the top but Pasco keeps moving. Pasco wants to stand up but Washington is controlling him. Pasco keeping full guard, as Washington tries to pass. Washington controlling from the top position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Washington thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Mo Washington showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Washington, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Young's waist but Young gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side. Young is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Johnson rolls with it to try and escape but Young cranks on the arm and Johnson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steele gets the takedown into side control. Steele is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Filo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Filo can't do much from the bottom here. Steele working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Steele working away. Filo is looking to regain half guard here but Steele keeps moving and retains side control. Steele decides to stand back up. Steele looks for the body kick but Filo saw that one coming. Filo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Steele is rocked! Filo shoots and misses and Steele counters with a nice double leg into guard. Steele is still in real trouble! Can Filo finish him? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Steele is looking to work some ground and pound but Filo has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steele won't allow Filo to get back to his feet. Filo is breathing heavily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Filo is on top in guard.
Steele is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Filo chips away with some ground and pound. Steele had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Filo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Steele Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Filo's back instead. Steele seems to have recovered his senses. Steele just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Filo tries to escape but Steele has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Filo defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Filo is trying to get back to his feet but Steele has full control of the position and if anything, Filo has just worked his way into a worse spot. Steele punishes Filo with strikes from the back mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Steele is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Filo knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Filo for a finish. Steele doesn't have the hooks in and Filo manages to turn into his guard.

Steele fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Filo sprawls well initially but Steele persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Filo has one foot on Steele's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steele wants to clinch. Steele tries to close the distance and clinch but Filo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Filo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Steele shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Filo counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Filo looks at the referee who does nothing so Filo lands a crushing right that sends Steele to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.

The fight stays on the outside here - Miller looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Gorchev scores with the left hand. Miller knows he should have avoided that one. Gorchev misses with a takedown attempt - Miller sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Miller tries to clinch but Gorchev moves away and Gorchev counters with a lovely straight right hand! Miller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Gorchev struggling a bit here. Gorchev really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The ground and pound from Miller seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Miller taking a breather here. Miller stands up. Gorchev feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Gorchev won't allow Miller to get back to his feet. Miller looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gorchev is one step ahead there.

Infamous will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
