1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles Pepper! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Eddie Farnsworth and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chimpo wants to clinch. Chimpo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pepper swats him away and circles back towards the center. Chimpo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pepper circles away. Johnny Chimpo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chimpo shoots for a takedown but Pepper saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Chimpo throws a nice looking combination but Pepper bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Chimpo throws a shot to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Pepper as Chimpo shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Chimpo. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pepper takes a body punch but keeps moving. Chimpo misses with a double jab.

Chimpo not allowing Pepper to control his hands. Chimpo is trying to stick to Pepper's back but Pepper is turning into Chimpo. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Chimpo's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pepper.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Chimpo throws out a leg kick but Pepper moves out of range and Chimpo only half commits. Chimpo has closed the distance and engaged Pepper in a clinch.

Pepper bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chimpo's guard. Pepper cracks Chimpo with a solid left hand. Chimpo wants to stand up but Pepper is controlling him. Pepper looking to pass the guard. Pepper throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Pepper postures up in Chimpo's guard and throws a big left but Chimpo blocks it. Pepper pushes down on Chimpo's leg and manages to get into half guard. Pepper wants to take a breather but Chimpo is having none of it. Pepper looks gassed!

Chimpo tries to roll over but Pepper keeps him under control. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pepper scoring with strikes to the body and head.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Chimpo tries to clinch there but Pepper circles away.
Pepper closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Pepper trying to control the position but Chimpo is working away. Chimpo parries the strikes from Pepper easily there. Pepper is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Chimpo to escape.
Pepper has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pepper tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Chimpo gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Chimpo wants to improve his position but Pepper is controlling well.

Chimpo tries to kick Pepper off but Pepper keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Chimpo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pepper's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pepper's back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Johnny Chimpo will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Pepper shoots for a double leg takedown but Chimpo sprawls well. He's pushed Pepper's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Chimpo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Chimpo wants to stand but Pepper has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Pepper wants to sweep here but Chimpo controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pepper trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Pepper keeping full guard, as Chimpo tries to pass. Chimpo is looking to work some ground and pound but Pepper has wrist control. Pepper looking for a sweep. Not yet Pepper, not yet. Chimpo throws and elbow that misses. Pepper uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Chimpo's guard. Nice move by Pepper! Chimpo wants to sweep but no luck.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Chimpo is rocked! Chimpo staying busy and making it hard for Pepper to control. The referee is taking a good look at Chimpo as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Pepper!

Oh Chimpo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Pepper lands a shot to the head. Chimpo seems to have got his legs back now. Pepper throwing damaging strikes from the back! Chimpo could be in trouble here!

Pepper has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Chimpo! Can he survive? No! He's out! Pepper gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Georgeborough is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pratt has escaped the position, nice work there. Georgeborough decides to stand up, so the ref orders Pratt to his feet. pain Pratt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pratt misses with a takedown attempt and Georgeborough counters by moving into the clinch. Pratt stops a takedown attempt from Georgeborough.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Pratt thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pratt stopping the sweep attempt from Georgeborough. Pratt distracts Georgeborough with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Pratt throwing strikes from guard but Georgeborough blocks nicely. Georgeborough has his foot on Pratt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pratt works his way back into a safe position though.

Pratt Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Georgeborough's back instead. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Georgeborough tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Georgeborough is squirming around, avoiding Pratt's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Georgeborough postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Pratt looks a forlorn figure.
Pratt is rocked! Georgeborough swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vader takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Vader looks gassed! Ball connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Vader tumbling to the canvas! Ball pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Vader was done - good stoppage!

Yozem with an attempt at a knee that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Yozem feints and as Perez raises his hands in defense, Yozem changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Yozem wants to pass the guard but Perez is keeping the position. Yozem stands up from Perez's guard - Yozem perhaps looking for a knockout. Yozem feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Perez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Yozem trying to control from the bottom.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vai Cavalo shoots in looking for a takedown. Trevally tries to sprawl out of it but Vai Cavalo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Trevally manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Trevally misses with a takedown attempt and Vai Cavalo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Vai Cavalo. Vai Cavalo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Vai Cavalo tries to free his leg and advance position but Trevally is retaining full guard. Trevally looking to control.

Trevally Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Vai Cavalo's back instead. I would not like to be Vai Cavalo right now.
Vai Cavalo is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Trevally off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Vai Cavalo trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Trevally is looking to control Vai Cavalo but Vai Cavalo is wriggling around and keeping busy.
