Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Kanada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernandez Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martinez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez misses with the combination.
Martinez keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kanada.

Martinez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kanada to the mat! Kanada manages to get full guard.
Kanada is trying to keep Martinez in close.
Martinez throwing strikes but missing.
Kanada utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Kanada is looking for a triangle but Martinez pushes his legs off easily.
Martinez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Martinez passes Kanada's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kanada tries to roll over but Martinez keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Hiro Kanada will probably get the nod.
