The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bonham gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Merde pushing down on Bonham's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Bonham missing with punches from the bottom.
Bonham keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Merde working over Bonham with some ground and pound. Bonham looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bonham looks like he's trying to stand up.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bonham with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Merde moves nicely into side control. Merde working away. Merde is putting a hurting on Bonham here, landing some big shots from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A lull in the action here as Merde stalls from top position. Merde works to advance to full mount. Bonham defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Merde working Bonham over with strikes here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Bonham is bucking up trying to escape but Merde cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Bonham is rocked! Bonham is looking to improve his position but Merde isn't that keen on the idea. Oh Bonham is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bonham is breathing heavily. Bonham can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Merde dominating with strikes here. Merde breaks from Bonham's wrist control and lands an elbow. Merde postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bonham looks a forlorn figure.
Merde pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. A nice elbow there by Merde. Merde with a couple of short strikes. Merde raining down shots from the mount! Merde prevents Bonham from getting the reversal. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Merde won't let Bonham get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Merde looking to finish Bonham with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bonham! Merde prevents Bonham from getting the reversal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Merde tries for a takedown but Bonham sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Merde misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Merde shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. John Bonham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gerard Merde. Horrible takedown by Merde or perhaps it was just good defense by Bonham which made him look bad. Merde misses with a takedown attempt - Bonham sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Merde shoots in looking for a takedown. Bonham tries to sprawl out of it but Merde keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bonham manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Merde is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Merde shoots in and drives through. Bonham sprawls well. Bonham stuffs the takedown. Merde tries for a takedown but Bonham sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Merde misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Merde shoots in for a takedown but Bonham shows good takedown defense. Bonham keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Merde shoots in for a double leg but Bonham sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Merde shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bonham but Bonham pushes him off and we're back to square one. Merde shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bonham pinned against the cage. Bonham gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Merde shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bonham stuffs the takedown. Bonham seems to have got his legs back now. Bonham lands with a kick to the temple. Merde shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Merde feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bonham wants to stand up but Merde is controlling him. Merde postures up.

Bonham wants to stand and escape but Merde is having none of it. Merde working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bonham's head. Merde landing with the ground and pound. Bonham keeping moving, preventing Merde from controlling successfully. Bonham can't keep his opponent in guard - Merde advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Merde passes into side control, despite Bonham's attempt to control the position.
Bonham tries to buck Merde off but Merde is having none of it. Bonham is not content to let Merde control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bonham tries to escape but Merde is in control. Bonham wants to control but Merde postures up. Merde content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Bonham wants to control but Merde postures up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bonham looks to land a combination but Merde avoids it well. John Bonham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bonham sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Merde to the ground! Bonham dives into full mount looking to finish! Merde is still in real trouble! Can Bonham finish him? Merde is looking to improve his position but Bonham isn't that keen on the idea. Merde wants to control but Bonham is having none of it. Bonham scoring with strikes but Merde is staying in there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Merde can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bonham is looking to escape. Merde controlling the position easily from mount. The referee warns Bonham that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Merde is landing with some decent strikes but Bonham is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Bonham tries to reverse the position but Merde maintains control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Merde blocks Bonham's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Merde lands with some strikes. Bonham throwing hammer fists to the chest of Merde. What's that going to do exactly?
That's one minute gone in the round. Merde lands with some strikes. Gerard Merde has got the better of the ground game so far. Merde raining down shots from the mount! Merde landing strikes, looking to finish! Merde landing strikes from the mount and Bonham is in trouble! Merde has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bonham is looking to get to half guard. Bonham is squirming around, avoiding Merde's attempts to control the action. Merde scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Bonham?
Bonham is trying desperately to improve position. Merde landing strikes, looking to finish! Merde prevents Bonham from getting the reversal. Merde looking to finish Bonham with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bonham! Merde can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bonham is looking to escape.

Bonham sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Bonham wants to improve his position but Merde is controlling well.
Bonham regains full guard. Nicely done. Merde working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bonham's head. Merde looking to sit in guard and control but Bonham gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Merde seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Merde throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Merde controls Bonham momentarily but Bonham frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Merde striking off his back but it's not causing Bonham any problems. Bonham trying to control the position from guard on top but Merde is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bonham preventing the sweep.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bonham lands with a thumping leg kick.
Merde swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bonham throws a jab when Merde was well out of range. Bonham misses with a looping right. Merde closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Merde grinds an elbow into Bonham's temple. Bonham struggling a bit here. Merde prevents Bonham from escaping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bonham is trying to get back to half guard. Bonham sneaks back into half guard. Merde wants to control but Bonham is keeping him busy. Merde prevents Bonham from standing back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A chopping leg kick lands by Bonham. Merde showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bonham.
Bonham moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Bonham gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bonham is on top in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bonham stands and throws Merde's legs to the side, diving into side control. Both fighters take a look at the clock.
And that's the end of the fight! Gerard Merde comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Merde has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Erak shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Miller but Miller pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sloan Erak. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miller misses with the combination.

and Miller makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Miller throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Erak counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Erak tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Erak takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Miller scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Miller throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Erak colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Miller as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Erak is left battered and dazed whilst Miller and his camp cheer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Osbourne drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Osbourne decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Martin can do anything to dispel that myth. Osbourne tries to pass to full mount but Martin defends it. Osbourne is trying to work for a kimura but Martin is defending well.
Osbourne works his way into full mount! Martin is bucking up trying to escape but Osbourne cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Martin wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Osbourne.

The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Martin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
