Gonalves is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tema dos Guerreiros-Pregador Luo. Alviero Gonalves struggled to make weight for this fight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonalves misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gonalves looks to land a combination but Graney avoids it well.
Alviero Gonalves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Graney shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gonalves as he avoids it easily.
Gonalves throws out a loose jab but Graney uses good head movement to avoid it.

Graney feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
