 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Gallman would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Gallman trying to control the position from guard on top but zlund is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. zlund is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Gallman controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Gallman stops zlund from standing up.
 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. zlund tries to clinch up.

nicky zlund seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. zlund on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. zlund lands with a slapping head kick. zlund throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

 Despite being in the dominant position, nicky zlund just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Elvington fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Elvington shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Glorious but Glorious pushes him off and we're back to square one. Collin Glorious has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Develen Elvington. Elvington shoots in looking for a takedown. Glorious tries to sprawl out of it but Elvington keeps driving through.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chua fails miserably with a takedown attempt. No luck for Chua with that takedown attempt. Nice takedown defense from Martindale. No joy for Chua on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shogun Chua. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chua shoots for a double leg takedown but Martindale sprawls well. He's pushed Chua's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Martindale feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Santana is keen to just control but Black is a slippery customer.

Black manages to capitalize on a mistake by Santana to take his back! Black wants to control but Santana is keeping busy. Black thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Black controlling well, preventing Santana from escaping the position.
Black seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Santana's chin but Santana turns very nicely into Black's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Santana.

Santana is staying active underneath Black, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Santana is looking to escape. Black prevents Santana from improving his position. Santana is trying to control but can't.

Santana trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Black trying to control but Santana is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Moses Black comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Black has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dennis walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Experiment II checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Experiment II avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Experiment II uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dennis.
Donk. Dennis catches Experiment II right on the button with a cross. The fighters circling - Experiment II throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Experiment II swings widly with a right hand
and Dennis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Experiment II cracks Dennis with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Dennis looks to score with a jab to the body but Experiment II is just out of range. Dennis on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Experiment II throws a lazy uppercut
and Dennis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Experiment II dodges the punch combination from Dennis.
Experiment II might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Dennis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Russian Experiment II seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flett swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Flett avoids a kick to the body.
Flett tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kalyagin swats him away and circles back towards the center. Flett throws a head kick but Kalyagin moves out of range.

Kalyagin fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Flett on the side of the head. Kalyagin connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Flett tumbling to the canvas! Kalyagin pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Flett was done - good stoppage!
